Regular Blog Postings to Promote Your Business

Once you have posted your first blog post, you need to keep the momentum going. There are many people who are enthusiastic about their first few posts and then when the steam goes out, their blog goes into oblivion too. Don’t let the same thing happen to your blog. Once you have created a schedule, stick to it and keep updating your blog content. If you are still wondering why you need to post regularly on your blog, here are some reasons:
Get people hooked onto your offerings:Creating a loyal readership needs patience and hard work on a continuous basis. Unless people get to read new and interesting things on a regular basis, they won’t come back for more. However, you need not post daily to get people enticed. Posting every alternate day or on a weekly basis is also good, provided you have something or the other to offer to your readers. Avoid repetitions of what you have already shared and bring some freshness or unique insight into your content so that people like reading it.
Breed loyalty among visitors:Updating your blog regularly will help you get loyal visitors who will not only subscribe to your blog and read it but even post comments, popularize your content online, and even buy from you in case you are offering products or services.
More traffic:Search engines love fresh and unique content. So, if you offer both via your blog, chances are that search engine results will show your blog for related search phrases, which in turn will increase your page rank and get you more traffic.
More traffic means more revenue:Your blog traffic is similar to virtual currency. So, the more people visit your blog, the more money you can make through clicks to your advertisements or by sales that are ordered.
More opportunities for link backs:The more regular you are with your blog content, the more opportunities you will have to get inbound links. As more and more people read and discuss about your content on various platforms like social media, their own blogs etc, you will be able to make your presence felt on the World Wide Web and get backlinks.
Though there is no blogging schedule that can be called “perfect”, you need to figure out your own based on how inspired you are and how much time you have on your hands. While some bloggers publish several posts a day, some others go for daily new articles. So, it all depends on where you want your blog’s growth potential to reach and how fast, which in turn will determine the frequency of your posts. So, make it a habit to post regularly if you want to make the most of your blog for business purposes.

Re: Best Internet Marketing Strategy Re: Best Internet Marketing Strategy - Hi David, I agree about the Blogosphere. You have a smaller group that Blog, but do so on the premise that they think they should, but have never really considered the purpose of their Blog. Then I think there are a few SEO or Internet Marketing types that see Blogging as just another link building strategy. But the largest group of Bloggers, tend to be people who enjoy writing and discussing their topics of interest. Blogging is good for link building, but the true Blogger is a breed apart from the rest. They want to dialog, to debate, to have feedback and they are very willing to link to other worthwhile conversations that are relevant to their topic. I agree with you. These group of Bloggers obviously are passionate about their writing and together, they create huge conversation trails interactive and travel from Blog to Blog. But the evidence is clear with this group that loves what they write about. With comments enabled on a Blog and having a Blog tuned to a specific purpose you already have the evidence of original Social Media.
