Key Components of an Effective Grant Proposal

1. Cover Letter:With the exception of government agencies, a brief but effective cover letter must accompany your grant proposal meant for any private or public funding organizations.

2. Executive Summary:This is presented at the outset of the proposal. It gives a concise gist of the whole project. Preferably, the summary should not be longer than a single page, or even shorter. Yet, it should manage to outline all the key points of the proposal.

3. Introduction of your Non-profit:The grant proposal may begin with a concise and accurate description of your organization, and its goals and aspirations.

4. Need Statement:This is a critical component of your grant proposal that describes the basic problem area or the need that must be fulfilled by your non-profit with the help of the grant.

Re: Require Info on CAD Fed/Prov Grants for Restaurant Start-up Re: Require Info on CAD Fed/Prov Grants for Restaurant Start-up - Hello everybody, I am a Hispanic woman who is going to become a Medical Lab Technician. I have decided to go back to school after having first child a little over a year ago. I have already been accepted into the program, but I am trying to find all the funding I can. I have already applied for Pell Grant and Subsidized Student loans, but the Pell Grant only covered 3 of the 4 classes. So I am looking into grants? Will I qualify this? Please help me.
try the Government Grant Authority try the Government Grant Authority - Well friend, you can try the Government Grant Authority & If you would like to claim your share of free government grants then I will personally suggest you for this place. Don't give up 40%! Don't give up 40%! - Congrats on this milestone Evan... I agree with outsourcing any function that makes the business owner a Front-line worker as this is not best use of your time. I also agree with Louis that 40% is too much to give up. 40% may work if you have surpassed your income goals from the website and after you pay the 40% you are still within your monthly income goals. Would an RFP/RFI (Request For Proposal/Information) to companies like this Website Sales Team be a call you need to make?
Do you want Milk? Do you want Milk? - I got this from a letter by J.F. Straw to me. It is a powerful quotes on taking action "Having the world's best idea will do you no good unless you act on it. People who want milk shouldn't sit on a stool in the middle of a field in hopes that a cow will back up to them." -- Curtis Grant
