Finding A New Career

One of the worst bi-products of this present economy is the huge amount of seemingly disenfranchised people that were once in flourishing industries now having no place to go. To make things even worse, many of these people are at an age that they feel they are too old to start over.

The world is changing day by day. As we all know the Internet is the future. Many jobs that were once done in commercial buildings are now being preformed all across the world by people working in their homes. With this trend, these people who have lost their jobs, now have the ability to make a comeback. That come back can come through the Internet.

People still need to buy and sell goods. That will be the way it is until the end of days. But the way they buy and sell goods today is vastly different than the way they did even 10 years ago. Today many people shop online. And it grows every day.

When people get older, their bodies become harder to move around! If they came from an industry where they had to do strenuous manual labor, working at home on their computer that would be a dream come true. Some people search the web looking for opportunities, only to find so many phony get rich quick schemes. Many people give up in despair. But there is hope. If you're such a person you might consider this advice.

*Look for online opportunities that promote products and services in line with your passion and value system.

*Find someone who can train you in the industry that you choose to market, over the Internet.

*Find an established company that has the same values that you have.

*Set up the schedule of learning how to market your product or service on the web.

*Make yourself a business plan just as if you were opening a new traditional business and stick to the plan. A good coach can train you in as little as three months in a new and potentially high paying career, selling your services or products online.

History proves that in bad times come there are people that see the opportunities and rather than give up, they move forward in faith and confidence. If you're someone coming out of an industry like real estate, construction, travel, auto, manufacturing, or whatever, please remember this. There are more opportunities now than there ever has been in the history of mankind to earn a great living, working right in the comfort of your home.

Re: Where is the best place to find a web developer? Re: Where is the best place to find a web developer? - That's a really tough one. Finding a business partner is like finding a wife - it takes a lot of trust to get the right one. I would try to hang out at tech-related startup events and see if you hit it off with anybody. Good luck!
Re: Hello from Missouri Re: Hello from Missouri - I have been unsuccessfull thus far finding an online resource of people who operate in the market I'm serving. Finding those people are a big part of why I posted here, but I'm not certain this is the right area either. The search continues...
