How To Get Free Back Links & A Google PR 3 Website in 3 Months

After you have created a website for your company your next goal should be getting it indexed in every major search engine. Watching your site climb to the top of Google is a goal that every web owner would love to reach but sometimes seems out of reach. This is where your Web Marketing will come into play; yes a properly optimized web site may help you reach your goal if you have a site that focuses on a niche market that has very little competition like my favorite author Peter Kent, who has a site that focuses mainly on "rodent racing". On the other hand if your website is in a very competitive market that focuses in lets say "Local Internet Marketing" now you need to prove to Google and the other major search engines that your site is an authority leader in your targeted market. The way you will accomplish this task and differentiate your site from the thousands competing for the same search terms is by creating high quality back links.

A major mistake many new web site owners make while in the development stages of their soon to be newly implemented website is not hiring a Web Marketing Firm to work side-by-side with your Web Designer. Unless, you plan on generating back links to your site yourself then you shouldn't worry about bringing in an outside firm. Many new site owners get dissuaded from generating back links to their website either because of lack of knowledge, finances, or time. The truth is creating tons of back links to your site does not have to be costly if you decide to take the do it yourself approach. There are many ways to generate high quality of back links for your newly implemented web site and using the methods that many industry professionals use, and that I am about to share, you should be able to generate a Google page rank 3 site in less than 120 days. First, get back to search engines basics and remember that original content, and back links are both kings. So start with writing at least two original articles per week and try to slowly work your way up to four, remember the more articles you write the more back links you will generate to your site. Now, I recommend that you manually submit your articles to a minimum of fifty article directories; remember the greater the better. This method is one of the oldest and most effective way of creating back links back to your website and what makes it even more effective is that along the way other article banks will sometimes pick up your articles and post them on their site creating a beneficial domino effect of newly back links back to your web site.

Second, join five to ten forums that are related to market. Now that you have joined, make sure you become active and make at least five to twenty posts a day to each forum. Forums are spidered frequently by Google and indexed regularly which is exactly what you want. When you are making posts in these forums make sure to include to your site's URL in the forum's signature and watch how each post will amount to a quality back link.

Third, create a social media profile on Meetup.com, not only does it pass on Google's page rank and links to your site with the anchor text of your choice; but it is also an excellent way to meet with groups who are local and share your same company interest.

Fourth, there are hundreds of social book marking sites like Stumble Upon, Digg, Mixx, and Sphinn just to mention a few. These social networking sites normally carry a high page rank, and search engines love to spider and index these bookmarking sites. I highly recommend that you sign up to as many as possible and begin bookmarking your site. When I last checked there was about four hundred social bookmarking sites out there. Now that you have signed up you need to post to at least one hundred of these social networking sites anywhere from two to four times a week. To make submission faster many professionals use social bookmaking softwares; but I must forwarn you many of the softwares out on the market today are inefficient!

Fifth, create a blog and start making posts, after you have created at least five posts now you are ready to start submitting your blog to the major blog directories. It is very important when you make posts in your blog that you always link back to your domain or sub domains within your posts, if you don't, your efforts will be done in vain and your incoming links won't count. If you are not an excellent writer or do not have the time to write content for your blog, then I recommend that you do post comments to at least ten "do follow blogs" daily.

The five steps outlined above should take you at least four hours a day to complete, and at the same time help you obtain a Google pr of 3 within 120 days.

Re: Readers, Money or SEO? Which comes first? - Hi Chris, I like your passion on the subject; I would have to agree with you on this one. Our company is finding Google is starting to look at content more. Links & Link Value are far more important....but Google is giving link value to sites that have quality content. I read a leaked report from Google a while back that explained how Google manually reviews sites. They have 1,000's of outsourced employees that go through sites one by one and rank them on many different levels. Once a site like Mashable is ranked a certain way, that value sticks with them. That is why no matter what Mashable, techcrunch, Amazon, etc... put out they rank well for. Obviously they all have incredible links but Google has given them link value based on who they are. Obviously the idea of quality content is nothing new, just seems like it has gotten lost in the SEO world. Jeff

Google has some amazing tools that can help website owners track everything. From Google Adsense reporting to Google Analytic to Google Conversion and most recently Google Goal Tracking. Between all of those tools a website owner should know exactly what type of traffic is converting & making them money and what type of traffic is not. I even use Google PPC to estimate organic search engine traffic! Website owners would do well to follow your lead and create a base, and then test off that base in regards to advertising. Jeff
Re: What Keyword research methods do you use? - Hi GT, Good post, I also typically use the Google Adwords keyword tool for no other reason than I have always used it. If other members have a better one they can recommend then please join the post. I have also found the Stealth Keyword Competition Analyzer extremely useful for selecting the most effective keywords to use. Back to Google, if they are main website keywords then I am looking for fairly large monthly global ‘exact’ searches but if it is just for extra weekly content then I am quite happy to run an article optimised with a long tail keyword phrase that may only have a monthly search of 200-300 because I know I have a better chance of ranking highly for that keyword phrase. regards, Mal.

When that goes away, the Wavers have zero to hold on to. What will happen to the way search algorithms score links is already happening. The Google algo has become much more elegant and advanced, devaluing staggering amount of links that shouldn't count, and placing more emphasis on trusted links. And the trust and juice given by those links is then verified by elements like user data, domain age, and other relatively hard-to-spoof factors. toddbeld
