We want to share our Internet marketing experience through step by step manner to all Internet marketing followers who are looking for the similar tips and guidelines.

1. We started our company in the year of 2004. We started collecting email ids from our website through forum and subscription form for future announcements.

2. We launched our first product in April, 2005. Started sending emails to our subscribers and went for a small party in the morning. Exactly after 30 minutes, we got our fist sale on Internet. EXITED TO SEE OUR FIRST DOLLAR ONLINE VIA INTERNET !

On the same day we got another order in the evening.

3. Within two weeks we got regular sales and our site traffic got low in the upcoming weeks and NO SALE after three weeks. We started using pay-per-click advertising and got no sale.

4. We got to know that SEO is the only permanent solution for driving targeted buyers to our site and started analyzing software tool to do the optimization job. Really it is SHAME to find GOOD ONE for complete SEO activities that time. All are showing some jumbled reports and always using the term competitor analysis and back-link finder, etc. Our internet business solution team decided to do our own tool for our SEO marketing. Thanks guys for starting this project.

5. The team started working SEO project of our main site and parallely started developing world's best SEO Software that achieves number one result as faster than ever and increased our sales to 200%.

6. Finally, our six years business secret tool full working product launched over internet in February last week of 2010. The tool started optimizing keywords for SEO Software tools and achieved first page results in just 5 months. Yes we are on FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE for the most targeted keyword "SEO Software".

Our SEO Process and Steps:

Step 1 : First we started looking high ranking keywords for SEO software tools and decided to concentrate on SEO software since it is more competitive than other keywords.

Step 2 : We need to increase linking count and popularity to reach our target audiences over the web.

Step 3 : We completed page contents with relevant keywords and page name also saved with keyword as the file name. Folder name also reflects keyword name.

Step 4 : Completed keyword addition into title, meta and img alt tags.

Step 5 : Created PAD XML (product info for download sites) for both products.

Step 6 : Submitted press release to PR sites. Note that PR can be published immediately in google search results (you can see News Results in first page of google). Just exactly after a week we got our first sale for this product from online. Excited!

Step 7 : Submitted PAD XML into download directories. Got 400+ affiliates for marketing our products by PAD submission. Got one 3 more sales via affiliates.

Step 8 : Created an article about SEO following our product page links and submitted to article directories.

Step 9 : Submitted our product link pages into link directories.

Step 10 : We have already configured and submitted Sitemap in google webmaster. We have rectified few corrections in html pages recommended by google webmaster tool.

Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - Hi Kevin, Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory. Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.

You sound like a very enthusiastic person who likes what she does and in Internet Marketing that is very important and you also sound like a 'people person' which is great. Internet Marketing is time consuming and challenging but can also be extremely rewarding and hopefully profitable. I don't know how many forums you have signed up to but this is one of the best. The support and guidance you get here is what makes it the success that it is but as I am sure you know from looking at the side bar that there are many aspects of business that are catered for here which will help you along the way, best wishes, Mal.
Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

In the past, there's been some interest voiced about adding a "Social Media Marketing", "Online Marketing", "Internet Marketing" or "Online Promotion" category. I'll implement [u:1g2tv6tf]ONE[/u:1g2tv6tf] of those new categories, but can someone first tell me what the difference would be between the existing "Marketing" section and one of those new options mentioned above?
