SEO Translation- The Complete Guide to Multilingual SEO

SEO Translation is a relatively new inclusion in the field of SEO. But in short time, some misconceptions are already doing the rounds. Neither companies nor all SEO professionals have a clear cut idea of what is generally called as "keyword translation", some also call "translation of met-data" and "SEO Translation". The key point that should be noted is that Google ranking for localized websites cannot be enhanced with translation of keywords, meta-descriptions and web texts. What clients need to do is consult an expert SEO translator to imply all what it needs to enhance the scope localized websites.

What an Expert SEO/Translator can do for you?

Readers must know it that localized SEO is not only the fruit of translation of chosen web elements and the text. Though it is the duty of the SEO consultant to educate the clients regarding what it needs to boost localized website raking but many fail to do so. The truth is that it can only be achieved with the use of specialized techniques. Some of the basic requirements are directory submitting, backlink building, blog commenting, directory submitting etc. If a SEO specialist is not providing all these, what he/she is doing is just concentrating on on-page SEO service. To get all round service one must consult an expert SEO translator.

What is on-page SEO Translation?

Any successful SEO translation must include two errands- First is taking care of the vital SEO tactics and secondly, translation of the website's content. By SEO it is implied that all aspects like keyword density, appropriate keyword, intended readership, keyword variation, H1 elements, keyword density, alt descriptions, meta-data all these factors should be taken into account. What an ordinary translation of keywords lacks is that proper SEO. It translates the text but does not enhance its readership.

Research is the main plus point of SEO translation. All the elements including the keywords are used only after extensive research prove them to be useful. Some factors like "free spits", target language evaluation of the competitors must be evaluated to gain optimum benefit. The search patterns of the local market have to be taken into account to create proper SEO Translation. The term "SEO Translation" is of importance because it implies that SEO and Translation have to be performed together to produce results in local markets. When performed together it has the potential to generate good business.

Re: Startup blogs Re: Startup blogs - Hi Jason, This is a good thread to revive. In his book,The 4-Hour Workweek, Tim Ferris divides the meat into four key sections that spell DEAL! 1. D = Definition 2. E = Elimination 3. A = Automation 4. L = Liberation I think the point about an "exceptional blog" is certainly valid. My guess is that Tim Ferris is referring to bland, boring blogs that managers are paying junior employees to "maintain". Complete waste of resources. But, for us work-at-home-onliners getting started with a blog is one of the best things we can do, and if it fails to make us any money, it's only because it is not exceptional enough, or because the products it promotes are not what people are looking for.
