Choose Website company

Guest post by: Albertson Denim

Article Overview: The choice of correct colors for your website is as much strategic as it is graphic. It is not simply selecting a color that is right as per your corporate identity, you need to pay attention to the color combinations that work on web, add textures etc. Similarly, the choice is also not merely on the color you like, there has to be a reasoning and logic to support the choice, then only will they be justified on the site. There has to be just the right mix. Easier said than done, We know, still this write up will help you make a better choice.

The choice of correct colors for your website is as much strategic as it is graphic. First thing that you should always keep in mind is that your website is the extension of your brand identity; therefore, it should always be in sync with the look & feel of your brand. In other words, the color schemes that you have on the logo, stationary etc. must be carried forward to a certain level to the website. It doesn’t need to be one to one replica. Rather, it should never be a replica. The theme should be the same and the application specific to web medium. Then you should make a choice between neutral colors like whites, greys, browns, blacks etc. which are the safe choice with a universal appeal or warm colors like reds, yellows, oranges, pinks etc. which are striking and meant to get attention. You can also opt for cool colors like blues, greens, purples etc, these are more soothing on eyes. The choice should be made keeping in mind the kind on audience that will visit the site and the purpose for which the site is designed. For example a health portal for national audience will work better with neutral colors while a bowling alleys Website Design L A will look good in warm colors. Color combination's are equally important. You can use readily accessible color guidelines that suggest which colors work well with each other. Still your own logics and creativity has to be applied. You must know whether you need complementary colors or contrasting ones. Both work equally well when used properly. The above are the broad rules but the pointers that many people ignore spoil the whole look of the site. For example, the colors of text should always be dark and crisp to make them properly readable, no fancy stuff here! Certain colors look different on different browsers. Therefore you should always test all chosen colors before finalizing etc. These small things make big differences. Remember, these are all guidelines; nothing can substitute your own judgment and outlook. So keep these in mind and work as you like to give your website beautiful colors.

Re: what position to request? Re: what position to request? - Hi Michael, Great suggestion from David, or you could try something around a design consultancy, How about Website Design Consultant, Design and Development Manager, Website Support and Development Manager or maybe Internet Business Development Consultant. Ultimately whatever you are comfortable with and good luck for the future, Mal.
Licensing and Exclusivity Licensing and Exclusivity - Is it better to receive a license from a company to provide a product to a certain region before of after your company is established? Ex. XYZ is a small company that manufactures cars and sells them in Europe and I want to get their cars licensed from them and be the sole provider of their flying cars in Asia. So would it be better for me to establish a company first or first get the licensing then build the company after? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Managing Your Website Managing Your Website - Hi Beat I know what you are talking about when you say it could be a frustrating experience. I would recommend to every business owner to find a website partner who can handle the Website Design/SEO/Hosting by themselves while still at a reasonable cost to your business. This is the most economical way to operate the online side of your business if you are unsure about it. I actually do this for a few clients myself and all I do is send them a bill every year for hosting/seo but if there are any problems its up to me to call the hosting company to find out what's wrong as well as keep them high ranking for particular keywords. If anyone else has found it difficult with their website, hosting or the management of any online services please post your feedback here and I'll try to advise your best option.
Young electrical engineer Young electrical engineer - I'm 15. I am a Director of B&S Associates, and I also have a 50% stake in the company. It is a Ltd company incorporated in the UK. Underneath the company there are currently a few other businesses. Most are internet-based. I've owned over 10 different businesses so far, but this is my first 'real' company (as in registered and incorporated). Right now doing my exams here in the UK - my last year in compulsory education. I will probably stay on at college and hope to go to university. But I'm a little torn as I want to be able to put all my time in the company - if I do go to uni I am going to have to wait at least 5 more years before I can do that
