Few of the techniques are:

1. Link Bait: In this method, the content generators of the web application development team come up with great ideas and concepts to share with people which combines both knowledge oriented and entertainment stuff to read and use. This attracts a lot of traffic to the site.
2. Link Magnetism: This is a strategy where in the company offers the content which is not so easily available in a form which could be easily comprehended or ready to use state over the net but currently much in demand. If your website can offer the internet users with such material orientated content, then it is too good for your site's viewership and popularity. The other way to attract the users is through question and answer forums on the latest and upcoming topics, debates, discussion portals, blogs etc.
3. Building the dead links: if your company is able to fill in the gaps created by missing or broken links on the web by providing material which is rich in quality content, then the site will surely be able to draw more and more traffic
4. Relationship building: Making alliances and forming bonds with websites which offer similar content is another way to invite users to the page and absorb clients.
