Selling Professional Services – 5 Opportunities to Grow Rich in Tough Economic Times
Selling professional services has always been challenging especially as the financial investment increases and the sales cycle lengthens. Even when times are good and the economy is booming. Right off the bat, you know it isn't going to be easy. Just take a look around...
The U.S. economy has ground to a near standstill and the stock market is stuck with about as much traction as a barefoot volley ball player running in a mud pit.
The credit markets have dried up no matter how much the President pleads and bashes the banks to free up some money for small businesses.
The number of unemployed Americans is heading toward Depression-era levels and the only entity hiring seems to be the Federal government.
Thanks to fears about upcoming legislation on Cap and Trade and Climate-gate your prospects and clients are anticipating skyrocketing increases in gasoline, natural gas, and electricity and that means they are guarding their wallets like a junkyard dog.
So how is that for setting up an ideal selling environment?
What's that you say? You live outside the U. S. - sorry to break it to you, my foreign friend, but with the U.S. economy on the ropes... European economies sliding, stock markets softening, and inflation soon to rise... these ain't exactly the conditions that set you up for life either.
So - given the fact you still have bills to pay - what do you do to make the max money in these miserable times?
You focus on what your potential and existing clients need to hear from you right now.
What message should you be sending?
Answer that single question and you stand an excellent chance of getting through this with a stronger business and greater wealth than you have now. Get it wrong, and you had better learn to love eating beans and rice three times a day.
There are 5 prime opportunities right now for you to develop a message your potential buyers absolutely need to hear. Your best potential buyers need to hear...
- How you can help them live better for less
- How you can help them make more money
- How you can help them find and enjoy little luxuries and guilty pleasures
- About products and services specifically for the richest one-quarter of one percent
- About the bare essentials we must have to survive no matter what
