Complete Sales Reference Manual Now Available

mastering the world of sellingThis year I had the opportunity to contribute to a book that would be a compilation on sales. While sales titles are released almost weekly these days, only a small number of them contain anything new, and most don't raise the bar for the selling industry as a whole. This book is different.

This book includes contributions from 89 sales experts, covering every possible topic, including sales, sales management, sales 2.0, sales process, sales strategy, sales tactics, sales motivation, sales presentations, and sales psychology. It's more like a reference manual!

The book's contributors include legendary stars like Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Brian Tracy, and Dale Carnegie, as well as my contemporaries like Jeffrey Gitomer, Chet Holmes, Jill Konrath, Anthony Paranello, Michael Bosworth and Neil Rackham.

David Riklan and Eric Taylor compiled and edited this compilation of the best that the top sales experts have to offer and, to entice you to order a copy of their book today, they have arranged for you to receive bonus gifts totalling - get this - $2,686. The book is an outstanding resource and well worth the introductory price of $14.36 on its own. I contributed to the bonus gifts and from what I've seen of the list, I would order the book just to get my hands on the bonuses!

The book is called Mastering the World of Selling and you can learn more about it and order it by clicking this link.

Link exchange Link exchange - Link exchange is the popular method of increasing page rank and generating maximum incoming traffic. But generating enough links is not as easy as it seems. There are many important things you should take care of before starting your link exchange campaign. Before discussing link exchange tips, we should understand exactly what a link exchange is. Link exchange is simply the exchange of your links with others. Every Webmaster wants the maximum number of visitors coming to his site for obvious reasons; his revenue and site popularity both increase with the increased number of visitors. But the basic question remains on how a Webmaster will be able to generate enough links coming to his site? There are two popular methods for creating the targeted links, one is manual and the other is the use of automated linking programs. Whatever method you choose for your linking campaign, remember that each has its own pros and cons. For instance, manual linking may take months to complete and automatic linking can result in untargeted and irrelevant links.
Re: Infographic: The 4 Main Stress Factors Re: Infographic: The 4 Main Stress Factors - I'd like to reference that article in my next blog post as well.. I worked in sales for years and found that days when I was positive, relaxed where days that it was easy to sell. On days that I was stressed I found I would not reach target. Stress is good at times, but it very easily becomes problematic. I do a lot of very physical exercise and work now, to manage it.
Re: Is A Business Plan A Waste Of Time? Re: Is A Business Plan A Waste Of Time? - I think the most important part of a business plan is not to simply present to potential investors - but I think it is to use as a guiding reference for your business schematic. Its' like the criminal code and constitution of society. There needs to be something to fall back on and reference for decision making, expansion, etc. Many entrepreneurs fail to understand this and rely too heavily on their 'thoughts'. Everything is in their mind, as opposed to on paper. Details tend to slip with time - so writing things down is essential to long term success.
