Advanced Sales Tip
I would like to show how all of you young and intermediate sales persons can go to the next step in becoming a true sales professional. Everyone knows you must have a great deal of product knowledge to become a good sales professional. The one thing that separates the amateurs from the professionals is the ability to sell yourself!
It doesn't matter what the product is because the real product is yourself! This is an important thing to learn. You can have the greatest product in the world, if the prospective customer does not like you or doesn't trust you it doesn't matter. You must sharpen your ability to instantly make all kinds of people like and trust you. As usual I have the privilege of working or just observing the entire spectrum of sales persons from the beginner to the intermediate to the most advanced.
In every case it is rare to find someone that realizes the importance of adapting to all people and making more and more different kinds of people like you. That is the ultimate sale! Selling yourself.
