Hello and welcome to my Weekly Insight for [date]
Not everything we share needs to have a purely business focus. What I have learnt though is that how well we do our business is impacted by how well we do ME.
Earlier in the year I talked about a personal goal I had set for myself. This was to make contact with friends who might have been forgotten amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life. It is indeed easy to put off until tomorrow what should be done today. I am happy to report that even though this year has been challenging I have accomplished what I set out to do. I have enjoyed many catch ups with friends and have established many new relationships.
It has proved both enjoyable and rewarding. Some I have been able to assist with problems and I too have received invaluable help. As a consequence I have also increased my referral base.
At home and work, we have an open door policy and always have the welcome mat out. It is especially relevant at this time of year when we all enjoy family and friendship togetherness.
Now here is a challenge to you. Who in your world needs a call? If you are waiting until Christmas I have news for you. That time is NOW!
We only have 17 days until Christmas and many will be busy with Christmas functions, the rush to complete business, shopping or perhaps to make a journey to visit family for the Christmas break. Make those calls today and make time to share with those important in your life who may have been forgotten this year.
Not all will be available, but you will reap enjoyment from those who make the effort and return your call! Actions truly do speak louder than words and I can guarantee you will make someone's day as many have done for me. I look forward to hearing your special stories.
