Stress Management = Sales Confidence

Stress Management = Sales Confidence

A meditation technique for managing stress. Three simple steps: Step 1: Quiet Awareness: Stop and be Quietly Aware of your immediate environment. Be in the moment, attentive and mindful. Step 2 (Because Step 1, as simple as it sounds, it very difficult to maintain for more than a few seconds with the internal chatter starting up): Breath Awareness: Maintain the Quiet Awareness by simply noticing when you are inhaling and when you are exhaling. Stay Quietly Aware while you continue in Breath Awareness. This will help you maintain the Quiet Awareness much longer. Allow yourself to relax. It will happen automatically. Step 3: Heart Awareness. Maintain the Quiet Awareness, overlay it with Breath Awareness, and now just listen. Listen for a “wisdom whisper” from the heart. No words, just a “sense” of comfort and peace of mind. That’s it. Call it “Q’Baha”. Use “Q’Baha” as a mantra to keep you on this inner journey. Try it for a few days, and notice how easy it is to slip into Quiet Awareness…and at the same time, notice how you become strangely more aware of, and confident in, your ability to move to “action” without the usual “should I or shouldn’t I”. A new relaxation technique, stress management tool, and improved efficiency in all areas of your life. If you’re in sales - get ready to set new sales records.

Whenever you feel overwhelm - you’re in over think. Stop! Take the Q. Go into Quiet Awareness.
Here is where you’ll muscle up “Intuition” and move toward balance. There is, is, is more than Think, Think , Think. Overwhelm is under estimation. Under estimation is a lack of self actualization. Move toward self-actualization. Attune to your inner wisdom. Q’Baha! Ha! Balance, Balance, Balance. Life is a tightrope. Become a confident and carefree tightrope walker. Think that’s impossible? There you go, under estimating your potential, the human potential. That is what we have been socially coerced to do!. The social order wants to keep you in the worker bee mode. See all that morning traffic? Those are worker bees. The queen (or king) bee take a limo from their estate. And you’re a worker bee because you are stuck in over think and under estimation, under intuition, lack of self actualization. You have untapped potential. I don’t care what your education or handicap. The world is full of examples of people who beat the odds.

Do you have a goal in mind? Then make a belligerent commitment to go for it. Don’t let anything stop you. Especially don’t let those lions of fear and doubt stop you, those constant roars of fear and doubt from your own inner dialogue. You can tame them. Write you goals. Visualize your goals. Then plant them in your heart. Be quiet and silent as you go about planting your garden. Seed your heart with images and feelings, and bodily and spiritual sensations that go with powerful visualization. Persist until you manifest the dream. Listen to your heart’s desire. Listen until it silences the lions of fear and doubt. Return to your heart, into Quiet Awareness every time they start their shenanigans.

Boosting Confidence Boosting Confidence - Confidence is something all of us women could stand to have infused in our blood 24/7! It’s one of those areas that many struggle with the most. Through my coaching practice, I’ve discovered an underlying thread that seems to undermine confidence in some women. It has to do with confusing true confidence with pride or arrogance. Confidence is being sure of who you are and what you are able to do in a way that does not compare yourself to others. It is not dependent on value because every one of us women is valuable. Pride or arrogance is when someone lifts him or herself above others as if they are more valuable than others. It also seems to be related to "approval addiction" where the self esteem must continually be fed by others or they don't feel good about themselves. Thus, some arrogant people put others down so they can see themselves as above. Confidence is simply being all of the great woman you already are. You want to create a great business and you want to do your job well. It is not prideful to be confident in what you are doing. I invite you to give yourself permission to really let your abilities come forward and see what happens to you and your business as a result. I’d also love to hear what methods you have for boosting your own confidence.
