Tapping Into Intuition

Tapping into intuitive consciousness goes far beyond the “hunch” generally thought of as intuition. It is a unique way of knowing that surpasses mere rational process and linear thinking. An experience of pure intuition opens the door to our natural state that we enjoyed as a child. It brings an experience of pure joy, a new perceptual condition, and a clear understanding of our purpose and place in this life.

Hypnotherapists, meditation teachers and many other contemporary body/mind/spirit practitioners have found that once we employ a variety of techniques that are effective in quieting the internal chatter, it is possible for many people, as a matter of fact most people, to enter a sort of daydream, a hypnotic state, in which they can be guided to vividly experience this place of perfect peace of mind. Just imagine returning to that pure joy you knew as a child, free of fear and doubt, trusting in a benevolent universe, enjoying unshakable self-confidence and emotional maturity – unable to be emotionally manipulated...by anyone!

Are belief and imagination important? Jesus said, “If you have the faith of a grain of mustard seed, you can move a mountain into the sea.” And Einstein said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” “It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.” says an old Chinese proverb. Faith and imagination are powerful companions.

Some things about hypnosis and meditation

Neither hypnotherapy nor meditation puts you to sleep, but they can put you in dreamland. You are aware of what is going on in a hypnotherapy or meditation session, but it feels dream-like. And, as in a dream, you can fly, swim and breathe underwater, run like a deer, and be in perfect health. Logic is not needed in this dreamland. Meditation and hypnosis can take you to subconscious, or what some call superconscious awareness, or even the supreme pure experience of pure intuitive consciousness that the mystics have spoken and written of for centuries.

We all enter a light trance state several times during any given day; when we are just daydreaming, and sometimes when we are driving and don’t remember a large section of the trip, or when we suddenly remember a name out of the blue. Ever happen to you? Well, you’re probably hypnotizable and could benefit from meditation as means of tapping into intuitive consciousness.

Meditation and hypnosis can lead us to a place of vivid imagery and new possibilities beyond anything that we normally think or imagine. When we deeply enter the body/mind/spirit reality that hypnosis, in expert hands, can reveal to us, it is possible to find ourselves in a place beyond words. A place of profound faith in the natural healing power of the body, a place often described in beautiful, loving, spiritual terms. A place of miracles. A place of healing.

How is it possible to access this magic place?

Well, if a handy-dandy awakened teacher such as myself were nearby, I would ask you to “Remember the future”. That’s right. Remember the future. While in the deeply relaxed state known as hypnosis or deep meditation, your subconscious mind (the mind that doesn’t require logic) would construct an imagined future - and much like a dream, it would feel real.

I would guide you in the construction of this dream. I might ask you to imagine something like watching a sunrise and feeling yourself a part of the entire process, a co-creator of this morning event. I would attune you to the resonance in your heart and the pure intuitive knowledge that is available to you.

We would explore this future vividly and joyfully, ready to accept what will be, and at the same time dreaming of a future free of fear and doubt, filled with happiness and contentment. You and I would create a lively hope for the future.

If something resonated your heart as you read this brief look at natural enlightenment and tapping into intuition, I urge you to trust your judgment. I once read, “When the heart speaks, take good notes.” Contact me or another meditation teacher, spiritual leader, hypnotherapist, or any number of body/mind/spirit practitioners who are trained in hypnosis, meditation, relaxation techniques, guided imagery and visualization. And...dream a little dream with me.

Guy Kawasaki's Angel Advice Guy Kawasaki's Angel Advice - Here are some words of advice that Guy Kawasaki, one of Evan's expert authors, gave in an interview awhile back about seeking out angels: "Some angel investors are members of angel groups, allowing them to increase their access to investment opportunities and giving them the possibility of investing jointly with other angels to hedge their risk. Tapping into these networks is one way to start looking for investors. Also make use of your personal network -- especially your professional advisors. Your network may well be able to suggest potential angels. In looking for angels to target, don't forget that choosing an angel investor is a great opportunity to gain an advisor. So do your research. The best investor for your start-up will be the one who can contribute significant experience, knowledge, and networking opportunities, as well as the cash you need to grow your business."
