A Fast And Easy Way To More Abundance
I listen to lots of books on tape and I read pretty voraciously too.
Sure, I consume my fair share of murder mysteries and fiction but many
of my favorite books have to do with developing one’s mind and
deliberately creating one’s future.
Recently I’ve been listening to a book called “Money and the Law of
Attraction” by Esther Hicks. The very beginning of the book has two
interesting questions; “Do you know what you want?” and “Are you
vibrating at the right frequency to attract it?”
While much of the audience says “yes,” Esther points out that if they
were really sure of what they wanted and were sending out the right
vibrations, they would already have all they wanted.
Do you have everything you want right now? Or are there areas of
your life that you don’t like? Do you know that you are actually
attracting everything you have right now whether you have done so
consciously or not?
The Law of Attraction states that you attract what you think about
most often. If you think about debt, you’ll attract more of it. If you
think about wealth, you’ll attract more of it.
What are you thinking about right now? Is it something you really want or something you don’t?
Here is a quick exercise to practice this week to move you towards attracting more of what you do want:
1. Make a list of three things that you don’t want in your life.
2. Next to each thing, write the opposite of it, that is, write what you do want, not what you don’t.
3. For each thing you do want write a short phrase that explains how
you will feel when you get that thing, but write it in the present
tense. For example, “I feel so relieved now that I have closed a
$10,000 sale. I can pay all my bills and feel confident I have plenty
of money left over for fun stuff.”
4. Repeat each phrase first thing in the morning and last thing before you go to bed at night each day for a week.
If you do this simple little exercise, you’ll begin to see evidence
of the things you want coming into your life as soon as tomorrow. How’s
that for fast and easy?
