What would your sales-role and business be like with less fear?

What would your sales-role and business be like with more meaning?

How would your customers feel with no fear from buying from you?

How would your customers feel if you helped them find meaning?

If you could apply fear and meaning positively to your business what would happen?

If you remove fear from your sales-role and your customers experience your business will transform magically and only limited by your vision. Furthermore, if you can help your customers find or apply a sense of meaning to their lives the same magic applies.

If you could remove fear from your sales-role and business what would stop you? Nothing!

What would your attitude be like every day if you had true meaning?

How would you feel?

What would you think?

How would you behave?

What would you do?

You would probably do things radically different to the way you do things today.

When you find meaning you find Passion! And when you find passion you find Purpose!

Re: 10 Reasons Who Startups Fail & Book Recommendations Re: 10 Reasons Who Startups Fail & Book Recommendations - Great post. But there is a paramount reason why business star up fail that is not addressed here. Which is the fear of failure. Someone said the fear should not been seen as a monster, but should be seen as horse that you can tame and ride as you like.
Re: Fear of Success Re: Fear of Success - You don't need to fear success. We should embrace it. Fear is define by a man of God as False Evidence Appearing Real. the meaning is what we fear most does'nt come to pass
biting off more than you can chew biting off more than you can chew - Some people are scared of growth... for fear they will bite off more than they can chew. A good example of this is a franchisee I know who is selling his business after only less than 2 years in service, not because the business is not doing well, but because he is afraid he will not be able to handle it at it's full potential. Although his dog care type franchise can house up to 125 dogs a day, he has limited himself to only taking in 35 dogs a day for fear he will not be able to handle more than that. He also doesn't want to hire more people because he is worried about the overhead. He got at a comfortable level of income for himself and simply stopped the franchises potential right there. I suppose there are many different reasons why someone will not allow their business to grow, but I thought I'd share this with you as one example.
Re: 4 Ways to Go From Employee to Entrepreneur Re: 4 Ways to Go From Employee to Entrepreneur - The situation that Wezi describes is more the norm than the exception. I have spoken to many "entrepreneurs-to-be" that have a desire to work for themselves but can't overcome the fear of making that critical leap. The truth of the matter is, if fear is preventing you from moving forward with your own business you need to overcome that fear first. To do this, try this exercise: 1. Write down as many detailed reasons why you are DISSATISFIED with remaining in your job until you retire. E.g., it won't let you achieve the lifestyle you desire; you are sick of commuting an hour each day; etc. 2. Write down in as much detail as possible your VISION of what your life will be like once you have your own business and you are fully engaged in it. Enjoy this step. 3. Create a list of the action steps you need to actually complete to get things rolling. What do you need to do first? Second? Third? Create a step by step plan. These three steps all work together to overcome any resistance you may feel towards making a major change in your career. If after these exercises, you are still too afraid, look at what you have written down. Chances are one of the three forces for change (dissatisfaction, vision, or first steps) are not yet strong enough to overcome your fear. Perhaps, once you really thought about it, things aren't really that bad in your current career, etc.... Hope this helps.
Re: The Fearless Factor by Jacqueline Wales Re: The Fearless Factor by Jacqueline Wales - Hi Shri, Sounds like an interesting book as fear is something I'm sure all entrepreneurs face when starting or operating their businesses. But I think that fear also plays an important role in keeping us humble and forces us to do our due diligence before acting.
