What Are You Doing
Ralph Waldo Emerson, in one of his essays, said, and I'm paraphrasing, everyone has an inner voice that speaks to him, yet very few people listen to it.
Imagine having an inner voice that was telling you to become an artist, an entrepreneur, a teacher, a writer, or even a farmer.
If you have an inner voice that occasionally stops by to talk with you why wouldn't you pay attention? If it was an outer voice I could understand why you might want to ignore it.
But an inner voice comes from within you and you might be wise to pay attention to it.
Mostly, based on my own experiences, inner voices tend to be negative, telling you - you can't do something or shouldn't do something.
Why do people dismiss so quickly what the inner voices, or if you prefer, your gut is saying? It probably has something to do with fear.
It takes courage to do what your inner voice is telling you to do.
It doesn't take any courage to live your life in "Quiet desperation."
There is one thing constant throughout a person's life. It's called choices. Everybody makes choices every day.
You are where you are in life because of the choices you've made.
In 10 years, you'll end up where you are because of the choices you make between now and then.
If you love your life - that's terrific!
If you don't love your life - you can choose to change it.
It's been said that, "Choice not chance determines your destiny."
To be unhappy with your life is not shameful. What is shameful is not doing anything about it. Here's a sales tip for you. You can make substantial changes in your life - but you can't do it alone.
You might want to get a copy of the Science Of Getting Rich - it can change your life for the better and forever.
