Differentiation is the Key

Every sales professional looks to find the "silver bullet" that will help them with being wildly successful in sales. While the proverbial "silver bullet" does not exist, the closest thing to it for any sales professional is what I would refer to as Differentiation. The professional sales representative will look for ways to differentiate themselves from the competition all through the sales process.

The differentiation can occur in the way we present the agenda at the very beginning of the sales process and the approach to the agenda previously shared in that sales blog all the way through to the close in the way in which we go about attempting to close the deal as highlighted in that respective sales blog.

In being able to accomplish the differentiation throughout the sales process, the sales professional will be perceived as a valued resource to the buyer and that is exactly what we want the buyer believing all along the way.
