When I read great books from the guru's who say that it's working harder and smarter than your competition that makes the difference between success and failure, I've known salespeople who work hard, but never make it and those who are very lazy and achieve outstanding success, it doesn't make sense, but haveing trained and worked closely with all types of sales people over the last 16 years, I have realized that their is glue that you need for sales success and it's called SELF BELIEF, without it your left with an uphill climb.You can be smart and hard working, but if all you do is beat yourself up about what you should have done every time things don't go to plan, you start to train yourself for failure and you will end up on the slippery slope and become very frustrated with sales and life in general.
Is that you?
If you feel yourself going that way, change your habits and take the positives in everything you do, tell yourself that you are the number one salesperson in your company, love and approve of yourself, get active, get alert, look at the postives in everything you do. You will start to feel great and your SELF BELIEF will start to grow within. Be the best you can possibly be and keep telling yourself that you are a great person and be positive with all the customers you meet, take an interest in them, the payback will be great. Your customers will love you and you will start to love yourself and your bank balance.
