One thing that may seem insignificant

One thing that may seem insignificant is also quick follow-up, but there is nothing that impresses as much

as when a company submits an offer or a reply by return mail...

For me it is purely frightening to hear how some companies deal with this thing, to my great surprise, I often here answers

like "we are still waiting for a response from two companies' after 3-4 days!

In the case of rejection, and missed businesses, show the customer how sorry you are that you not get the joy of a new business

opportunity just with him/her.

Be almost gladder with a rejection than if you sold something to the customer! It can be difficult, I know.. but as I said,

patience produce results sooner or later.

If we show that we care, we will hopefully

have proved that we are worthy to help the customer later on!

There are many good salespersons that work well when everything is fine, but are bad at dealing with problems and complaints.

Helping a client with problems, and then solve it gets a picture of your capacity for more business in the future.

For exactly 17 years ago I wrote on the Internet about how I felt about sales and marketing. ( Swedish is my language ) It was new and the site was very popular and the visitors appreciated

what I wrote. I was a young salesman who worked for a certain type of goals. Today 17 years later Im working as a CEO and can look back and se that many have been achieved. The starting point was actually when a member of our family lost his job,and i started picking up material to try to encourage him.

To my surprise, absolutely nothing has change from 1991 and 2008. Downturn and financial crisis is something that affects us big. Banks learned nothing, but we as people have come to learn and hopefully we can handle things better this time. There are ways to get out of this as a winner, once again

But we have a responsibility to tell that to the younger generation and i intend to do my part Hope it can do any good.

Re: Examples of Great Landing Pages Re: Examples of Great Landing Pages - Kevin, been a while! hey I just reviewed the Landing Page - I like it! The structure is all there and I like how the testimonials are "related" to the business benefit of becoming a Partner - Nice work! Two points: 1. Have you tried other headlines or split tested other headlines? You can use google website optimizer to do it. I know you can come up with a slightly stronger headline unless this one came out on top. 2. I feel that when the page first loads it looks "incomplete". It's just a visual thing. I guess i was expecting a border around the content, a header image maybe... it's just the way i am wired to expect webpages to load. This point may be insignificant. Testing is the only way to know for sure.
What's the first thing to unpack What's the first thing to unpack - So I just moved into the new office and am setting everything up. Most of my stuff is still in boxes but the first thing to get unpacked was my computer and router for the Internet. I'll slowly be taking the rest of it out but all I need is my computer and the Internet to survive. The next thing unpacked was my new panini maker for a great lunch! What would be the first thing you unpack?

Re: Poll: Video Marketing Online, Do you use it? Re: Poll: Video Marketing Online, Do you use it? - Hi all, video marketing is very powerful and will really help get your content out there. A great little tool you can use on your pc is JIng pro, costs about $14 for a year subscription and allows you to make quality screen capture videos, very useful for tutorials and things, I use them a lot when i work one on one with my students. Having said all this, one thing that I would like to add is that yes video is the in thing at the moment and undoubtedly is very powerful as your prospect can see you and hear you, but one thing a lot of people forget really is that it is just a medium for carrying your message. Creating the right message and having something of value to say is what determines your success in marketing, online or offline for that matter.
Re: Alexa Ranking Goals Re: Alexa Ranking Goals - Hi GT, Nice to see you made the switch and are enjoying it so far. It's a little different, and I find myself using IE every now and then for something, but I think you'll come to like it much better as most of us do. I'm sure you find the add-ons are pretty nice, too, huh? Funny thing you mentioned about the bookmarks because that's one thing I still use IE for. I haven't gotten myself to fully use FF to bookmark pages yet. Maybe someday.
