Sales Success Tip-Become a Sales Champion

If you are easily offended by the truth, then I would suggest that you skip this article. It is not for you if you are looking to find excuses as to why you are not living up to your potential. In fact, it is just the opposite.

Where you are in your life or your career right now is a direct result of the choices that you have made up until this point in your life. We were all born with the ability to be champions. We were certainly not born to barely get by, to suffer from lack, from worry and low self-esteem, or to stay mired in mediocrity. We have been given all the tools and the power to live a life of total victory…to live the life of a champion.

Too often, I meet and talk with those who have been living with one or more of these afflictions for so long that they have become immune to the pain. Immune to the pain of shattered dreams. Immune to the pain of resignation. Immune to the pain of never reaching beyond mediocrity. Rather than rejecting their current lot in life, they have chosen to tolerate it. There are many truths in this life, and one of them is that you will never change what you choose to tolerate. If you tolerate where you are right now, then that is where you shall remain. If you want more, then it is time to step up. Get out of the rut. Get out of the mindset that your life is shaped by others and by events out of your control.

Your life is shaped by you and by the choices you make. You are where you are by the choices you have made in the past and your destiny will be shaped by the choices you make in the future. Not by outside events. Not by the choices of others…that is unless you give them that control by neglecting to make the choices on your own. Blaming others or outside events for your current situation simply makes you a victim. Instead choose to control your life. Choose your destiny. Choose to be a victor rather than a victim. After all, who is more qualified to make that choice?

The future remains for you to shape. If you don't, someone else will and you probably won't like how it turns out. But the sad truth is, if you let someone else control your destiny, you have no one to blame but yourself. You have a choice. You can choose to remain in the crowd of underachievers that make up the vast majority, or you can choose to stand out. To live a life of abundance…a life of a champion. You are not here to barely get by. You are here for so much more. But it is you who must choose. You cannot change what happens on the outside until you change what happens on the inside. You must begin to understand that you have the power within you. The power to change your life and the lives of those closest to you. Maybe you need help to discover it, to nurture it, to exploit it. Maybe you've been stuck for so long that you need help to learn how to use it. Maybe you need help to become the champion you were meant to be.

If so, then now is the time to act. Now is the time for you to make a move. A bold move. It is time for you decide to stop being a victim and become a victor. Time to take control of your destiny. Time to leave the life of lack, of discouragement, of failure and mediocrity behind and embrace your future of abundance.

If you are still reading, then I would surmise that you have chosen NOT to tolerate your current situation, but to reach for more. You know that there is no better time to take hold of what is yours than right this very minute. Make the bold move to abundance and the life of a true champion. Start your journey of abundance today. You can do it.
