The fax is dead, long live the fax. In these days of high tech marketing even email is beginning to seem old hat. Reading an article about fax marketing revived an old idea - fax to wall.

People like to decorate their work space, especially with witty cartoons and funny stories. What a way to give fax marketing some durability. Just entangle a marketing message with humorous or interesting piece of public domain entertainment.

Many years ago such entertaining pieces were propagated by fax and used to adorn book cases, filing cabinets, and dividers. Today they are sent around by email. Using them to liven up a work space now requires them to be printed out, an extra step that is sure to discourage many.

A fax can be whipped of the fax machine and slapped on an old bit of blue tack for an instant public conversation piece.

With a little diligence and time on Google, anyone can find suitable material that can be linked to a product or service while communicating humour or a worthwhile message in an interesting way.

Fax marketing has been on the decline for sometime. The fewer people use it the greater it's impact. Add something novel, funny, or interesting to give it a new, high impact value.

I grew up in the 60's and you didn't have the money making possibilities you have now. I came out of college and went to Wall Street in 1974 as a stockbroker/commodities broker. People were doing well but not the crazy numbers we see today. All I knew was that the people making big money were the people who were in their own business.

In particular, I liked "you’re already perfect" and "Smashing through the Black Wall of Fear." That's exciting that there is a new 4-hour book out. I really enjoyed "The 4 hour Workweek."
