So, what does make you mad?
Here’s a list - it's by no means complete; but please take a moment to consider these areas and see how many of the items included annoy, frustrate or even infuriate you. Equally, how many might describe your behaviour – whether regularly to infrequently?
Statements to consider:
# I have been known to lose my temper with work colleagues # I get quite angry when talking to people on the phone # I often shout at others when driving # I don’t feel comfortable dealing with any new technology # I really, really hate shopping # I guess I fail to keep a good balance between work and home activities # I detest people who leave their mobile phones switched on during meetings # Okay, i'll admit it - I like to listen to a little gossip now and then # I get annoyed when a colleague gets herself a coffee – but doesn’t offer to get me one # I am frustrated by colleagues helping themselves to my stationery, do-nuts and the like # I dislike spending my "free" time paying household bills # I often find driving to work very stressful # I don’t like really untidy people # I don’t like obsessively tidy people # I receive far too much useless information at work # I hate people who just look miserable all the time # I hate people who seem to be happy all the time # I have hit my computer on occasions - and enjoyed it Wow! Calm down friend! Now, please remember that the above list is neither exhaustive nor is it psychologically designed. It’s simply a slightly light-hearted way of showing you how easy it is to get upset, frustrated – or even downright furious.
