As Good as Anyone

Guest post by: Geoffrey Canavan

Article Overview: You can use your relationship status, your lack of money, the lost contract and the spilled milk (or whatever) as an excuse for why you’re not living up to your potential. You can blame external circumstances and other people all you want, but nothing will change until your attitude does.

As Good as Anyone

Identify your innate positive qualities.

List your top 3 heroes - the people you most admire and respect. Identify and write down at least one reason why you think each of these people deserve your admiration.

Now, distil those reasons further until you have one word to describe each person. For example; courage, wisdom, strength, tenacity, generosity etc.

Next, be very honest with yourself and identify how you may be using the success of your heroes as a reason to stay mediocre. Do you ever think ‘it's okay for her/him' or ‘I could never do/be that'?

Look at your list of why you admire and respect these people and acknowledge that the qualities attracting you to them are already in you. That is why they resonate so much with you!

Now, go back to your list of words and write ‘I am' in front of each quality.

In your mind's eye begin to see yourself as your own hero.

Become the person you always wanted to be.

Allow yourself the opportunity to grow into the unconditional you of success and happiness.

Using youtube disadvantages? Using youtube disadvantages? - Youtube embedded players play instantly. Good. However, if you use a youtube embedded player on your business website and click it twice, it takes you away from your site and on to youtube's where a prospective buyer can wander endlessly and perhaps never return. Good or bad? Does anyone know how to alter the html so that it plays only and doesn't link to youtube?
Re: Book Promo 201 - Preview Trailer Re: Book Promo 201 - Preview Trailer - Hi Shri, Good to see you! One of the first things I look at before watching a video is the amount of time it will last. With your video on 1:58, you keep it nicely below two minutes. I can commit to two minutes (sometimes!). It does a good job of convincing us of the need for social networking, and that you must be a good source! Good stuff. David H
