Be Who You Are

Guest post by: Geoffrey Canavan

Article Overview: The hidden message in every fairytale can teach us a very valuable lesson. The frog was already a prince. The princesses were already princesses. All they were waiting for was a touch of magic to enable them to reveal their true selves. Just like every one of us, these fictitious characters were all born perfect but their true beauty became obscured and compromised by life. You don’t need magic to become who you already are. You only need to accept the perfection of your self.

Be Who You Are

Fairytales may not be quite as fanciful as they appear at first glance.

Think of the frog who was really a handsome prince, or the Sleeping Beauty and Snow White who just needed a kiss to restore them to life.

The more we approach the awareness and the realisation of the successful self, the more clarity and light comes into our life. On the other hand, the closer we get to that sense of failure, loss or inability the darker and sometimes the more obscure the road seems.

As we get a greater sense of what life is about in the truth of our real identity the difficulties of day to day living do not just vanish. However our ability to deal with them and our capacity for right-minded thinking becomes far greater. We learn not to charge headlong into a crisis that in so many ways is built around the delusionary nature of a life we have created. We don’t stay in the sense of failure or loss. Yes, we can experience it and experience all the aspects of what it is to be human and go through our daily living but the real key is that we are not anchored completely in any situation as we now come to terms with giving real meaning and purpose to our lives.

Failure becomes diminished as the power of self grows. What we are really doing is teaching ourselves not to give up on what is truly in our hearts, which is the perfectly created you. It may not always feel like that but always hold in your mind that it is indeed the truth.

But the shift between one and the other is very subtle and it takes very little effort to change direction. If we are prepared to look at our world with perfect honesty we will start to grow and to experience a sense of the truth of what we are, which is success. We will then begin to see how meaningless and without foundation our fears are.
