4 things to do EVERY day

Want to have more fun? Enjoy life? Feel good about yourself? Increase your confidence? Here are four things to do EVERY day:

  1. Read – find something, even a paragraph, about something you’ve never thought about before. A great source is blogs – you can always unsubscribe if you find you don’t like reading them so give a few a try.
  2. Look – watch for new, exciting ideas, products or companies and learn something about them. Observe their marketing and try to figure out who they think their best customer is and if they are delivering the right message to that group.
  3. Try – find something new to taste, visit (like a website you’ve been meaning to visit), or meet someone new.
  4. Share – be generous with what you’ve learned, experience and observed. A good place to start is here! Share with my community!!
Yes, EVERY day. No days off. You will see and feel results quickly. I promise!!

Law of Attraction and I Law of Attraction and I - I too don't dispute the Law of Attraction (LoA) but in addition to thinking positive to attract things into my life I also believe you need to take positive "action" towards those things you want to attract. The LoA is too fluff to stand on it's own. When you are working towards a goal in your life you automatically become aware of things (hence you may think you are attracting things) that will help you accomplish this goal. The key thing here is you are actively taking action. I forget the name of this study but if you are in a room you may not notice the things around you but if I say "do you notice all the red items in the room" all of a sudden you will "noticing" Red. Same with the car you buy - you probably pass hundreds of 1998 Mazda 626's on the road but you really notice them when you own the same model. When I have attracted something into my life I congratulate myself in practicing the LoA but when that something doesn't come I analyze how I could have done things differently so that when the opportunity arises again i'll try something different.
Re: Smart, sexy & single... Where is your Mr. Right? Re: Smart, sexy & single... Where is your Mr. Right? - David, I think that's a good idea! Being clear on what you're looking for can only help -- picking those three or four things that are just essential, and being flexible on the other things. I know many women who have a list of 15 things a guy MUST be, and a lot of them just aren't realistic (not saying you should lower your standards, but really decide if he was to be X, Y and Z...or if Y is really what will make you happy on a daily basis). For instance, I've heard women say they want a guy over 6'3, who is rich, in great shape, etc. But they don't even mention things like kindness or if he's a nice person. My husband wasn't my usual "type" and I couldn't be happier -- so being open minded can only help! But being firm also on some areas, maybe your values/life goals need to match...etc.
Re: My 200 post Re: My 200 post - Thanks GT, I do it because I enjoy it. If I don't enjoy it, I won't do it. As a home business owner, it hard to do the non-fun things, and if you want things done, you must sit and do them, however there are things, like forums that are fun to do and it is the first thing I do when I get back home from work.
SEO Analysis SEO Analysis - Thanks JP - how about an analysis of EvanCarmichael.com with a few key highlights of things done well and things needed to be improved on to give the forum members an idea of what they get by using your evaluation?
Re: Would you pass on a media opportunity? Re: Would you pass on a media opportunity? - Hi Kevin, There is first think to everything, and you can never know how things end up. You may be scared and be a huge success, or you can be comfortable and mass things up. It is all about your attitude, the best thing is to say yes, smile, and think twice before you answer.
