I Lost It - I Went Crazy Nuts! Just STOP. - By Jim Yaghi

A sure sign of a destiny of failure...

Is resisting change.

Anyone who lives in the real world knows that change is GUARANTEED. Nothing stays the same.

What works today won't work again tomorrow.

What brings in money now won't bring money later.

What gets traffic this month won't get traffic next.

Yet I've been consulted by all of the biggest affiliate systems, ones that used to earn millions of dollars in revenue each month, ones that have thousands of affiliates sending them more leads than you can imagine...and almost always they resist change and ultimately reach near-bankruptcy before they get off their butts to change.

Here's a classic example of an idea so many refuse to change...

Autoresponders in the old days used to be pretty effective sales mechanisms.

An autoresponder is a piece of software (or part of a software) that allows you to pre-write a series of emails intended to sell a product and then organize your emails to go out automatically (in order) a day apart to every new mailing list subscriber you get.

The idea being that if you figure out a sequence of follow-up sales messages that work...

you automatically show that series of messages to any lead you get; in effect replicating the SAME formula that made sales before with every new lead.

It sounds like a fantastic idea - it's automated and allows you to sit around and collect sales all day without working.

But this is dangerous and STUPID.

The BEST autoresponder in the history of autoresponders was written by a company who hired me to send them traffic.

After 100,000 leads I personally sent into their autoresponder, I gathered the stats and saw that only 6% of leads bought - with a 2% refund rate.

Now this doesn't sound so horrible, I guess...if you could ever replicate their expert results...but right now, I use a MUCH better way (less lazy but needing less skill) that converts as much as 40% of the mailing list.

A near 600% improvement. With a ZERO refund rate.

While they and all who still use this "autoresponder series" strategy have seen a HUGE DECLINE in sales over the years.

Higher buyer resistance. More objections. More refunds.

And this is an important lesson for you...

You should NEVER rely on something that works to KEEP working.

You should DISTRUST everything that's working right now and assume it has a short lifespan.

Not a matter of IF it will eventually fail...it's a matter of WHEN.

And if you're a smart entrepreneur, you'll be working on your next move. So you're prepared when that change happens.

But if you're even SMARTER than that...you'll assume change as a constant given, and use only dynamic strategies that change with the change.

That's why, while most people insist that the STATIC sales page or landing page still works...

And btw, the autoresponder series approach is merely an extension of the same static sales idea - that sales will always come from the same message...

Me...I don't subscribe to that belief at all.

I use a DYNAMIC sales letter: Broadcast Emails.

Every follow-up email I write is a new DISPOSABLE mini-sales letter that expires at the end of the day.

No email is scheduled or autorespondered. It is written and sent in realtime.

It hits new people in new ways daily. It hits new hot buttons. It hits people at different times. It comes straight from my heart in the exact moment I feel the urge to share.
