Get Prospects Chasing YouSuper Size the Experience You Bring to the Table in EVERY Interaction

One of the greatest things you could ever do....for your business...for your life...for employees...for your relationships is to have a vision that you super size satisfaction in EVERYTHING you do.

People Don't Remember You for Meeting Expectations...They remember only BAD and DELIGHTFUL

Think about this....People remember only those things that are extraordinary.

When you meet expectations you can JUST "satisfy" your customer, satisfy your friends, your significant others, your kids....etc. Gee, that sounds almost negative when you say it that way. I don't mean it to be a negative, but to just satisfy doesn't make you extraordinary. It makes you just so-so.

Those that strive for "satisfaction" have a picture in our heads that "we will keep everyone happy", "always satisfy"...."the customer is always right"...so to speak. That's who we think we are...our picture says "always satisfy our customers, and others."

However, when you are doing what is expected, even if most of the people around you don't get satisfaction, in reality you are just meeting expectations and that makes you.....JUST OK.

What Will Make You Extraordinary

So what would make you stand out, be remembered, and maybe even revered?

Well, if meeting expectations is just so-so, then what happens when we don't meet expectations. You will definitely be remembered, might anger a few people, and probably have the story told all around your community. Notoriety I believe is the word.

However, when you ALWAYS look for ways to not only satisfy but to exceed expectations and find ways to truly delight then you will be remembered and revered as someone truly extraordinary and that everyone wants to be around, associated with, and maybe even to do business with.

Super Size the Experience You Bring. Super Size Satisfaction-Always DELIGHT

So whatever you do, super size it, super size the satisfaction. And I mean in EVERYTHING.

Focus on the person or company you are interacting with instead of you and what you provide, and then look for the opportunity to super size it. When I work with companies helping them develop their strategic plan...their vision of who they are and who they want to be I frequently get answers like "Biggest and baddest [whatever it is they are] on the block." That is about them, and their results (which is OK...sort of anyway as far as their own goals) but what would happen if their vision was "We're the BEST at satisfying our customers and because of that we're the biggest and baddest [whatever we are] on the block"

What would happen if EVERY time you sat down with a client or prospect, in an initial meeting, a sales meeting, anytime....and the MOST important thing was to not just meet expectations but to look for ways to super size the experience and satisfaction....wouldn't you have a customer for life, or a friend for life? As a matter of fact wouldn't they likely be chasing you to do business with you?

What would happen if EVERY time you meet friends, that significant other, a date, anyone...your prime directive is to super size that experience....super size the satisfaction...to delight.

How might that look? Sometimes just asking they will tell you. What is it that you want the very most? What would make this a terrific experience, a terrific evening, a terrific meeting?

Or when meeting a new prospect, client, or vendor...What is it that you'd like to achieve at this meeting? What would turn that into a super result for you? How can I help you get there? And then find a way to make it happen.

Won't I Be Taken Advantage of?

I know...I know...you believe that people would take advantage of you if you leave everything hanging out there that way. You are exposed. It might even cost you more than you can afford.

Most of the time, when you are open and focused on your customer, your friend, relationship, they are so overwhelmed that they become excited. They aren't going to take advantage of you, you just made a friend. Most of the time you can also find ways to super size that experience without even costing you anything except the time you're putting into the relationship.

And, if you are taken advantage of, then you are meeting with the wrong kind of people, and you are in control of who you meet with and who you continue to meet with.

Make EVERY interaction with you a super sized, extremely delightful experience, not just an OK to be with you experience. You will become the most popular person, and most popular company....period.

I'm a business coach. Most business coaches have a vision "I'm a good business coach." That's so-so. Instead of just being a business coach, I focus on multiplying their business and I'll do that in every way I can even before they become a client, in each and every interaction from the first one on...whether they pay me or not If a person I meet doesn't find 2-3 ways to multiply his business results I've slipped up. That will happen in each and every meeting even before he becomes a client. People love to meet with me and want more. They give glowing referrals that have people calling me.

Do you have anyone chasing you?

So, super size the experience you provide, super size the satisfaction to DELIGHT every time you meet anyone, prospects, customers, vendors, friends, employees, ANYONE. Stop trying to SATISFY and super size every experience.

What would it take to super size the experience and satisfaction for those you meet with?

Simple way to avoid Cold Calling Simple way to avoid Cold Calling - Gary, A chiropractor I work with hates cold calling (me too!) and he uses a technique to warm people up to using his services - it's so simple! In Sales your dealing with 3 pools of people: 1. Strangers 2. Prospects 3. Returning Customers You need to move people from one pool to the next. We'll concentrate on #1 and #2 as it's most relevant to your question. My Clients does the following (you just have to tailor it to your situation - be creative). My Client (we'll call him Bob) Bob leverages his time and resources to only get people that need his offer (pain relief) to put their hand up. Dealing with Strangers can get expensive and they don't like to be told what to do as they have no trust or relationship built with him. So to get Strangers to put their hands up he writes up an offer with a free report on a particular pain relief - let's say lower back pain (note: he can simply just change lower back pain to neck pain and have a new report). and uses multiple marketing vehicles to promote the Free report - magazines, newspaper, forums, postcards, private clinics etc. The only people picking up this information are the very people Bob would like as customers as they have Lower back pain. Bob's Free report ends with him stating his services and includes a Free in-house Consultation with no obligation. You'd be surprised at how easily Bob converts Strangers into Prospects. Note: They become prospects when they ask for the Free Guide and in exchange provide their contact details. This gives Bob unlimited opportunity to contact them for the Free in-house consultation with no obligation to continue using him. At this stage Bob's ability to close the sale lies in his office providing good customer service, Bob's ability to help the prospect and provide value at the free in-house consultation. Notice, he hasn't had to pick up the phone to COLD-CALL his Stranger pool or his Prospect pool. Hope that example helps to increase your prospecting!
