Changes
Is your life going through some changes? Of course it is. Everyone's life is constantly changing, that's what life is all about. All of us change, adapt to the change, grow because of the change, and repeat the cycle all over again. This ensures we grow into a bigger and more succcessful person.
What do you feel about change in general? Well, if you're like most people, change is something that you would like to avoid. Change creates a sense of confusion for people because they aren't familiar with the new change. Confusion makes people feel out-of-control. So, ultimately, change can make a person feel out-of-control and confused.
The media likes to bring attention to the dynamic changes of life and the world. According to the way the media delivers its messages, the end of the world should occur either next week or the week after. Of course I'm simply having fun with the way our news is delivered and how the media tends to exaggerate the negative changes and minimize the potential for anything positive. There is one thing all of us can agree on, "There are many changes taking place on the planet and in every person's life."
My programs concentrate on the present and future aspects of a person's life. I like to avoid the past because there is nothing we can do about it-it's gone forever. Although we can't do anything about the past (Even God can't change the past), you can do something about the changes taking place now to get the most out of your life in the future.
Currently, you may be going through what appears to be some negative changes. Actually, the changes could appear to be devastating, when in reality, you can make it a positive or a negative depending on what you want the outcome to be in your life.
Now, we're getting into my Mental Codes Technology®. How we respond to change is dependent upon our Mental Codes. If our Mental Coding is programmed to concentrate and create negative emotions, our reaction to change (good or bad) will be negative.
If you want to experience the most out of your life, learn to adapt to change; invite change; and look forward to change. Learn the fact that when you're changing, you're growing into a bigger person. Change is the essential element for any successful life. Without change a person would stay in a static state of being less, year after year.
Circuit City is one among a number of companies that have gone out-of-business recently. I just read this morning about one of the executives at Circuit City, who lost his job and ended up going into business for himself. Although this person never planned on being in business for himself, there he is and is doing fine. If he wouldn't have lost his job, he would have never experienced this new aspect of his life and the new found success.
Whatever you're facing, become determined to make the best of it. Create a knowingness within you that says, "This is the best thing for me and it will make me a stronger and better person because of the change that is taking place." Remember, whatever you say it is will be the determining factor of how it will impact your life-negatively or positively.
One of my favorite quotes by author, Richard Bach says, "What the caterpillar calls the end of the world the master calls a butterfly."
The outcome of it all is up to you. Will you shrink and shrivel? Or, will you expand into a new existence and come out bigger and better than you ever were before the change occurred?
It's now time to close our Five Minute Mental Break. Until we speak next week, I am
