The Power of Habits

Your Habits Determine Your Success

If you want to see your potential for success, take a look at your habits. Your daily habits for work, health, goal achievement, time management and how you interact with other people, all determine the outcome you can expect.

If you aren't in the habit of putting forth your best efforts in your work or business, you will not be able to produce anything better than mediocre results.

Even if you aren't in the "ideal" business or job, put forth your best efforts in your present work and you will eventually move toward your more perfect livelihood.

You can see exactly where your life is going based upon the habits you are allowing to exist today. If you have successful habits, you will produce success. If you have counter-productive or negative habits, you will produce more of the things you don't want.

Children learn the importance of habits and so can you.

If you ask a child to clean their room, the child may protest and refuse the work at hand. As a loving guidance to the child, you will demand the youngster to follow-through with your request and presto-the room is cleaned. You taught the child the habit of self-discipline to achieve his or her desired outcome.

As adults, we usually don't have anyone who will teach us the habit of self-discipline to become accomplished in our desired outcomes. The result of not having the habit of self-discipline is that we think about doing the right things, talk about doing the right things and may even attempt to start doing the right things but we never make it to "cleaning the entire room of life."

What is the Habit of Self-Discipline

If most people will get in the habit of self-discipline and do the things that are necessary, regardless of whether or not they want to do them, success will always be the result.

If you want more of anything, develop and stick to your new successful habits. If you want less of anything (less financial problems, work problems, clutter, and relationship challenges) stop beating yourself up and feeling guilty for not doing the things you know you should be doing and instead, discipline yourself to change to successful habits.

If most people would just put one ounce of self-discipline into their lives, they would receive one hundred pounds of success. In other words, the habit of "Do it now" can go a long way.

Take an inventory of your habits and see where you will be tomorrow.

I encourage you to take an inventory of your entire life and note what things you want to be different. Then, write out the necessary action steps you need to do that would change your less desirable life into your dream life. Start doing the things that will produce the life you desire, regardless of whether you want to do them or not-do them anyways.

Having dealt with thousands of people, I've observed that anyone can achieve anything they desire but they will have to work for it. To get the work done, the person will need to develop the habit of success by doing productive things and staying focused on what needs to be done. This means to "be" your dream and avoid the traps of most people.

Watch-out for the worst habit of them all

Most individuals will waste time complaining about things, people and circumstances. Using the negative energy of thought and conversation to stimulate the bad habit of being distracted away from their dreams instead of using their ability to create the life they desire.

Take a look at your habits. Are they constructive to be the person you desire? If not, either change them and become a better person or stop complaining and embrace you have reached your maximum. The choice is yours-success or failure-according to your habits.

Women Entrepreneur Tips Women Entrepreneur Tips - Thank you LeoOliveros, I found #4 particularly true in my case: 4. The Enterprise Must Include the Power of Power Networks. As a conductor of your own enterprise, you can not see yourself as a one-woman-show. You must choose to utilize the power people in your life, by asking for help when you need it, and effectively delegating in order to capitalize on your strengths and that of your power network. When certain experts are not represented in your power network, you must actively seek advisors or mentors and develop a team of specialists, so the benefits are received by everyone involved in the power network - the true Power of Power Networks.

Success Strategies Success Strategies - How to get the results you want now? Success Strategies and Action Steps I have used are: The Power of Choice Where you are at this present moment, is exactly perfect from the choices you have made. If you want to be somewhere else, you have to decide clearly what that is (your goal/outcome) and create action steps to achieve this. The Power of Focus The book "The Power of Focus" by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen and Les Hewitt, is one of my treasures in my Entrepreneur Library. If you focus on what you want versus what you do not want, your conscious and sub-conscious mind will direct attention to this. The movie, What the Bleep, Down the Rabbit Hole, explains this in detail about quantum physics and what we create in our lives. The Power of Commitment This is not about commitment to others. The first step is the commitment, your word, you make to yourself. Accountability and responsibility are additional success strategies and ingredients to creating the success, defined by you, that you want. The commitment to others reflects your integrity, your word and the team you work with. Co-workers, clients, yoru family, friends and community.
