A Short Note on Philippines Call Center Industry

The spurt in the information technology sector combined with that of the gradually increasing need for efficient and faster customer service has prompted the overall growth of the call center companies in Philippines. In order to meet with the stringent demands of the clients, there has always been a need for technologically advanced services ensuring efficiency and proficiency in carrying out business activities. Apart from adding to the company resources so as to meet with the after-market services, many major organizations have now turned to the specialized help given by the third-party service provider like that of the call center companies based in the Philippines.

Today, the Philippine call center services include a range of customized services like outbound telemarketing, inbound customer service, contact center services, lead generation, technical support, administration, web development, software development, language training, software development, logistics, human resource management, medical and legal transcription, accounting and finance and more.

In the recent years, Philippines has opened up its doors for the institution of the medium and small outsourcing companies not only for clients based in the United States but also for prospects based in the other parts of the world like New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Knowing that business process outsourcing industry of Philippines to be one well-built economic arm, the government of the Philippine has stretched its support for the development of the industry. The Philippine government has also provided its support by means of allocating suitable places and helping the BPO companies by means of both foreign and locally managed companies preparing their needs so as to put their facilities within the country.

I answer my phone I answer my phone - when I worked in the Call Center we had to say "Good XXXXXX, Andy speaking, How may I help you?" imagine saying that over and over again. It kind of sticks with you. It's been a few years now but I've kicked off "How may I help you?" part.
Money I made while in School Money I made while in School - While in university I did have a Student Loan (still paying that bugger off) and had a part-time job as a Call Center agent (inbound). *Canada* I also designed websites (outsourced all the work). I just worked on getting new customers, managed the projects to completion and helped create Marketing Plans for my clients (Online and Offline). *Canada* When I was studying the in the States I also made some money as a Part-time Flight instructor. *USA*
Magnetic Ads - Biz Idea Magnetic Ads - Biz Idea - Attn Young Entrepreneurs looking for a Business Idea. This came to me while sitting in Traffic for about 1 hour while looking and laughing at ridiculous bumper stickers. Note: this idea is rough but will help get the idea-momentum going. Idea: Sell advertising on the back of cars in the form of reusable magnetic signs (about the length of 2 or 3 bumper stickers) Most people shouldn't have reservations to participating if they get a cut of the monthly fee you charge the company advertising and it doesn't hurt their car. An example of a Magnetic Ad: Geico: I saved 15% on my Car Insurance. Call 1-800-U-SAVE-15 You don't have to pay the cost associated with creating the Magnetic Ad because you will advise the company that this belongs to them and you can get them in touch with someone who created reusable magnets. So your basically managing two sides: 1. Company's that want to advertise 2. People in your neighborhood (to start) who will put the ads on their car. Bigger cars can have more than one ad. Happy Money Making!

Unsecure Neighbourhood Unsecure Neighbourhood - Instead of knocking on their door why don't you leave a letter in their Mailbox in a hand written envelope. You can advise them via the letter that their internet connection is unsecured and write how an unsecured internet connection can affect them. Note: this is time consuming but I'm assuming that your willing to spend the time to drive neighbourhoods to find your target market. People on this forum may be able to assist you in determining how to make more use of your time. Maybe you can post flyers in the neighbourhood stating "This Neighbourhood is Unsecure!" "Your Internet connections may be at Risk" Call me now for a free assessment of your Wireless Connection at 509-xxx-xxx The free assessment is critical in getting strangers to contact you. I'm sure you'd be able to come up with something more creative and I hope you use this as a launch pad for new ideas.
