Call Center Exam for Job Seekers

The article gives a brief insight about the call center recruiting techniques. This will give you an idea about the required qualities that you should possess for getting selected as a BPO employee. First and foremost, you need to remain calm even at times of stress. You need to prepare your mind to face any kind of challenge at the workplace, be it the meeting of deadlines or any other issue. This is a trait that most call center authorities search for, within you. Communication skills and confidence are other two major factors on which you will be judged.

Even if you are experienced, you will be selected only if you are able to pass the screening test arranged by them. Before making to the interview, make it a point to rehearse your roles as a call center agent. The interview board might ask you to demonstrate your role in a particular call center activity. They might transform the interview session into a realistic working session, to assess your capabilities in a better way. Practical tests have become a part of such interviews, so get prepared for it.

Comprehension capability is another factor that the call center managers equally stress on. Since the job of an agent is to attend huge volume of customer calls, the individual should be able to comprehend the customer queries as quickly as possible. The agents need to be very clear in their mode of thinking and speaking as well. They need to be very correct in their spelling, grammar and pronunciation. Fluency of the language you are speaking in is a requisite for successful interaction with the customers. Accent is another essential factor that you should focus on. You need to develop as well as understand the accent in which your client or customer speaks.

In case, the customer fails to understand what the agent is talking about, he or she might leave the call. That will result in a negative review for the respective call center company, hampering its business. Usually, a group of individuals are appointed in each recruitment session, which leaves chances for you to get hired in your first attempt. Prepare yourself in such a way that you become a part of the selected group at the end of the interview session.

Honesty keeps you ahead of others in every sphere of life, and your work field is no exception. The call center authorities greatly focus on the security of their huge customer databases. Individuals with dishonest means are certainly not fit for the job since they can interfere or misuse the confidential database, leading the organization into a swoop. To grab the best of opportunities in BPO, go through the advertisements posted by these companies, on various job sites and social networking sites. Before selecting a BPO job, go through the webpage that mentions the desired candidate profile and the job description. In this you will be able to analyze your strengths and weaknesses in that particular job field.

Last but not the least; try to be punctual as this will be interpreted as your sense of responsibility, by the interviewer. All of these tips can help you in getting hired, provided that you follow them properly.

I answer my phone I answer my phone - when I worked in the Call Center we had to say "Good XXXXXX, Andy speaking, How may I help you?" imagine saying that over and over again. It kind of sticks with you. It's been a few years now but I've kicked off "How may I help you?" part.
Money I made while in School Money I made while in School - While in university I did have a Student Loan (still paying that bugger off) and had a part-time job as a Call Center agent (inbound). *Canada* I also designed websites (outsourced all the work). I just worked on getting new customers, managed the projects to completion and helped create Marketing Plans for my clients (Online and Offline). *Canada* When I was studying the in the States I also made some money as a Part-time Flight instructor. *USA*
Comapnies that release buggy software Comapnies that release buggy software - I know that companies have been doing this for a long time - rushing software into release and then sending out "patches" for the many problems they have later on, but I've never understood it. Surely the bad will they generate is enough to drive away customers?? Having said that, I've got Windows XP, it works just fine for me, and I see no point in changing. Call me an old fuddy duddy, but in my experience new software usually takes away stuff you loved about the old application, and puts in new stuff that you hate, because no one ever asks the users what they want...it's all done by techheads....or whatever the term for those guys is these days...
Re: Just Saying Hello Re: Just Saying Hello - Hi Camil, It's great to have you here! You're very lucky to have someone like David to take you under his wing and mentor you. There is a lot that one can learn from him, including myself. To answer your question about Pay Per Action, PPA simply means paying only after someone signs up for a newsletter, buys something, clicks a link on your site, etc. You don't pay simply for them clicking on the ad and going to your site, they have to take some sort of [i:3d00o8mo]action[/i:3d00o8mo] on your site. This would be a good alternative compared to PPC, and as Tanny mentioned, MSN's Ad Center would be a good PPC alternative. Yahoo Marketing would also be cheaper. Great questions so far... keep them coming! There are plenty of members here willing to help. All The Best, Alan
Re: Which movie will make the most money this summer? Re: Which movie will make the most money this summer? - Hellboy disappeared from the Top-10 faster than I expected.. Journey To The Center of the Earth was fun (I saw it in 3D), but really suffered from the fact that it didn't have a villain to provide tension. The problem with Crystal Skull as a family film was that it had that totally unneccessary sequence with the voracious ants eating people alive... I didn't like it when it happened in the Mummy with the beetles, and I didn't like it here! Dark Knight seems to keep chugging along. One thing that really irritates me about movies is that sometimes the trailers shown are totally inappropriate for the movie it's preceding. I went to a screening of Wall-E - with a theater full of little kids, and they showed two rather graphic trailers for horror movies! That's totally unacceptable!
