US Health Bill- Will it be a BPO gain?

The new US Health Bill happens to bring huge opportunities for the BPO outsourcing vendors. In order to know more, you need to read out the rest of the article. The new US health reform is expected to bring about a great opportunity for the BPO firms. As per the studies, the United States will be spending over $2.5 trillion in the development of the healthcare system. The allotted amount will be spent on the US residents covering $8,160 per resident on healthcare, which also makes way for the third-party vendors.

President Barrack Obama in an announcement has made his plans clear that the current government aims to make healthcare facilities inexpensive and reachable to the US citizens. In this regard, the new $938 billion health reform plan implies creation of various opportunities for the healthcare system. Not only this, the plan will open additional opportunities for the IT/BPO service providers as well.

The new decision spells huge growth potential for the BPO firms. Those business process outsourcing firms that cover services like enrolments, claims processing, customer support and underwriting support for the insurance carriers will be the ones to be found ahead of others.

Will India gain from US Health Bill?

The new healthcare plan ushers significant development for the Indian IT services. According to the plan, the $37 billion allocation for electronic healthcare records (EHR) necessitate the US hospitals to pursue phases like beta-testing, archival data conversion into the compatible formats, installation, set-up, ‘change management exercise’ for the clinical staff so as to use this new system. All of these and more are likely to be carried out by the major Indian IT service providers.

The $938-billion healthcare reform plan as it stands will cover more than 32 million US citizens. This also means the insurers will be dealing with an increased customer base like never before. Hence, the need for a stronger support system and planned administrative framework in the form of the third-party TPAs, administrators and technology partners will have a key role to play in this new reform.

The law on the US healthcare authorizes the formation of the state-wise health insurance connections. Additionally, this new market will in a way allow the TPAs and the insurance carriers to excel and innovate in diverse technology-based managerial services.

Issues pertaining to resource optimization, cost reduction and access to other crucial information and other will induce the insurance carriers to take help from the TPAs and the outsourcers. Hence, it is likely that the BPO firms will be in a position to gain from the US health care reform.

TPAs and business process outsources will help in carrying out most tasks that were conventionally carried out from within. The reporting needs and the business analytics will prove to be the key to assess the efficacy of the reforms. This will create great opportunities for the IT service providers.

To conclude, it can be said that the business process outsourcing firms have a great role to play in this healthcare reform plan. Though not directly, but the IT/BPO firms have an edge to deliver its expertise in forms to enhanced customer support program for the insurance carriers.

Re: Does it help to join business groups? Re: Does it help to join business groups? - The hardest thing to do (men or women) is to network and gain meaningful contacts. Further, developing relationships with these contacts can be cumbersome at best. Joining business groups is a fantastic way to push yourself ahead, gain some motivation, and learn from others. I would say it most definitely helps to join business groups. For very involved businesswomen, sometimes these kinds of 'social events' are what they need to relax and step away from their business for some down time. Try it out, I'm confident you will not be ashamed you did!

Re: Is getting a formal education worthwhile for entrepreneu Re: Is getting a formal education worthwhile for entrepreneu - Knowledge in whatever form is valuable. Its not just about usefulness in the business that you plan to start. The knowledge that you gain via an education system definitely is not enough for an entrepreneur because Facts that you will face in your role as an entrepreneur will be much different than what you have learnt. But having an education will definitely equip you with getting the leads in handling situations. So my suggestion is that you continue with your studies and gain as much knowledge you can. You are already aware that the learnings you make can be applied on the Website. Same also applies for all your other learnings. The only thing is you will have to wait for the time to apply what you have learnt.
Re: Tactics for Blog Traffic Re: Tactics for Blog Traffic - Here is a strategy that I use to gain more traffic to my blog. I make sure I update it 6 times a week (gotta take sundays off LOL) and then i share that post with relevant groups in Facebook and then through twitter. If you target it right you can gain silly amounts of traffic very easily to your blog. For example if I am writing or posting something about financial matters or investing i could share my post with all the Rich Dad Poor Dad groups on Facebook etc.. best of luck to all the bloggers just starting out
