One of the reasons is I haven't been more specific in getting through the skill sets that I need to be able to pursue the service I wanted them to target. Though another thing that bothered me is the culture differences I've experienced from an Indian firm. I'm not posting this to be fight against them but what I'm trying to say is that when you outsource, make sure you already have an idea of which firm you'll be outsourcing with so your business will not be put at stake. Re: A note for software companies struggling in this bad economy - Hi Hasnaseen, Good to see that your company implies a responsible service since you're taking into consideration the basis of a project and how will you be able to evaluate its cost. Some firms may have a lot of promises and will not give you enough information to set agreement with and thus, will cost the outsourcer a lot. Also, I would like to add that outsourcing to the Philippines has also been bringing in good relationships with the US companies.
