Don't Rely On Government Health Care

Use The NEWSS To Avoid Dependence On Medicine By now, most Americans are aware that the Obamacare "reform" of our medical system, rammed through Congress with shady deals starting this time last year, will have little to do with health care. It's about government takeover of a big chunk of the (formerly) free-market economy. It's about control.

Some of the onerous taxes attached to this legislative fiasco will kick in pretty soon, and then we'll start feeling the sort of pain no doctor can treat. As awareness of the real nature of the legislation has grown over the past year, more Americans favor its repeal... more than two-thirds, according to the latest polls.

Who knows whether the next Congress and president will let them get away with this permanently? And, if so, who knows how long it will take them to dismantle the greatest medical system in the world's history? Smart people are moving now to protect their financial health by starting a business and getting smart about how to protect wealth in the new global economy. For physical health, though, your best options today are these: keep your eye on the political news (for clues on how to use your vote to protect the medical system), and keep your discipline with The NEWSS (the five most important daily health habits to protect yourself from "bad medicine").

It's tough during the holidays, but keep paying attention to your Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sleep, and Supplements. Slow down on the processed and low-nutrition garbage that's everywhere around you these days - try to limit your treats to small quantities of the really-tasty goodies that are "worth it." If you don't have time to make it to the gym, at least get in as much walking as you can (and don't forget to stretch). Drink at least two liters of water a day - a good rule is to make sure you get a glass of water down with each alcohol or caffeine beverage. Get your eight hours' sleep. And even when you're busy, you can still take your daily vitamins.

Make it easier for your body to recover from the holidays. In a few days, when you start on your New Year's resolutions, you'll thank yourself.

Re: Can someone explain Search engine optimization to me? Re: Can someone explain Search engine optimization to me? - Hi, Ask yourself, "What is the goal of a search engine like Google?" A search engine's goal is to provide the most related (or best) web page results when someone searches. Do you think people are searching for "Auction Cars Government" or "Government Car Auction." In fact type those keywords into Google with the quotation marks. You will find that Google gives different results for each keyword phrases. Granted you get many of the web pages ranking the same but there is a difference. My answer is, use "Government Car Auction" or even "Government Seized Car Auction" because that is what people are searching for. That is how the majority of the indexed pages use. That is what makes sense when you read the phrase. Jeff
Re: Are Economic Recessions Good for Franchising? Re: Are Economic Recessions Good for Franchising? - All we can do is remain wide awake and pay attention to the ebb and flow. My strategy is to be prepared and go with the flow. There could be some rough times ahead... Interestingly, our business has remained strong. I believe it's because we're in such a tight little niche and we're well positioned to sign jobs nationwide, therefore we're not restricted to location. We also target affluent markets that have higher disposable incomes - this we do locally. Here are some Franchise Categories that could weather a good recession... Re: Obama Wants Social Security for Illegals Re: Obama Wants Social Security for Illegals - [quote="Alan Mater":1q4mpk8g][quote:1q4mpk8g] This is what happens when the Government gets involved and puts its nose where it shouldn't. Let the market correct itself. There is no reason for the Government to bail everyone out. If the businesses, mainly banks, weren't corrupted with greed, this wouldn't have happened. They are and it did, so let them dwindle away and pay for their mistakes. That's what any small business has to do. Why should they be any different. They have gotten away with it for over 10 years! Surely they should have seen this coming. [/quote:1q4mpk8g][/quote:1q4mpk8g] The same thing happened in the early 30's that's why the law to prevent these practices was put in place. But, during the Clinton administration people decided that eliminating that law would boost the economy - once again, that didn't work. Kind of reminds you of the saying that people who don't consider history are bound to repeat it. Chris
