Time To Crash-Proof Your Wealth

Some Will Survive - And Thrive - During The Coming Economic Disaster Times are bad, and you know (deep down) that they're going to get much worse before they get better. The natural disaster in Japan is only the beginning... in fact, the world's economy is so fragile right now, the Japan earthquake (along with unrest in the Middle East and market manipulation in the world's leading economies) will probably be just the catalyst to much worse times ahead. What to do?

The truth is this: the wealth-building strategies that worked for the past six decades will not work for the next six years (or less). What's needed now is a new, informed approach to wealth and prosperity that flies in the face of traditional wisdom.

Here are the three most important things you can do to ensure you're one of the informed few who not only survives, but thrives, during the coming economic storm.

First, you have to improve yourself. You will need to be at your absolute best in order to meet the challenges of the coming global economic wreck. Your energy and vitality must be as strrong as you can manage to make them. So before you do anything else, take personal responsibility to challenge yourself. Work out. Eat right. Get yourself into shape, physically, mentally, and spiritually. You will not be able to defeat the forces arrayed against you without an inner strength your competitors in the world market don't have.

Second, you need to get yourself "off the grid" in a financial sense. You might have a great job right now, but again, the conventional "wisdom" of employment is not going to work in the new world economy. You can't trade your time for money, put away a small amount of your wages, and expect to build lasting and defensible economic strength. If you haven't already done so, start a business on the side. You can start a home-based internet business for a far smaller investment than a conventional business would require, and you need a revenue stream for which you can take personal responsibility. You can't rely on your employer to carry you in the future that's coming your way.

Finally, you need investment advice which is unfettered by allegiance to specific firms and products. It's not that easy to find such advice. Almost all financial "advisors" these days are really sales people, whose primary incentive is to put their clients into products offered by the companies which certify those advisors to do business. You'll know you've found "pure" advice when your advisor suggests investments which seem to swim "upstream" against the tide of mainstream advice (without "fighting" the markets). If you can find the right kind of private wealth group, you might be able to build and sustain enough financial power not only to survive the coming crash, but to take care of the old-school thinkers in your family who stand to lose everything.

It's not going to be easy to beat the looming disaster. But you can do it. Be the best you can be, take personal responsibility for your own entrepreneurial venture, and get smart about what's really going on in the world economy. Those three strategies will put you in position to rise above the crowd in the coming weeks and months of economic chaos.

Books that should be written Books that should be written - [quote:1m0dcpd7]"The Idiots Guide To Sticking With One Thing At A Time and Not Doing Something New All The Time" [/quote:1m0dcpd7] I myself am a 'constructive' procrastinator... I don't know if I'm alone in this. I have about six or seven projects I'm working on at any given time. I get one project almost done... then my interest is piqued by another project and I work on that... I get burnt out and move to another...I know I do this so I have it arranged such that once I get bored or burnt out with one project, I can step right back into project 1 - or 2 or 3, and get that a little bit more done before moving on to something else. As long as you're organized and know where all your reference material/idea sheets are when you're ready to get back to work on each project, it should be fine. I also find that by stepping away from a project - I still work on it in the recesses of my mind so that when I go back to it - it's with some good ideas that I wouldn't have had if I'd continued on with it originally. Maybe I should write a book on how to Procrastinate Constructively... I've actually thought about doing that...because most people procrastinate, don't they...and very few are ever able to stop.
