Entrepreneurship Is Very Closely Associated With Your Risk Taking Abilities

Entrepreneurship is a vital quality which makes any person a successful entrepreneur. In other words, the act of being an entrepreneur is called entrepreneurship.

However, if we try to understand entrepreneurship in management terms, it is an activity of undertaking risks of a business, innovations, and other business activities.

Undertaking business risk is not an easy task and therefore, an entrepreneur must have unique and distinctive qualities. Currently, entrepreneurship describes the innovativeness and creativity of a person in the market. The person who innovates something new and presents it in the market for the customers is the successful entrepreneur, and he or she are considered as having best entrepreneurship abilities.

An entrepreneur must be a visionary who can forecast the future events in the market, and they must be brave enough to bear the potential risks involved in businesses. There are numbers of qualities and prerequisites to become a successful entrepreneur and to prove the entrepreneurship ability.

There are many definitions of entrepreneurship prevailing in the market. However, none of the definitions precisely define the word entrepreneurship. The closest definition would define entrepreneurship as the consequence of creative work and bearing risks in the market.

The person who perceives the marketopportunity and grabs it immediately can also be called as good entrepreneur. Such a person is able to understand the demands in the market, and produce the goods and services according the requirements of the customers.

Entrepreneurship qualities:

  • Self confident and visionary
  • Never gets discouraged, especially when they come across adverse situations of business
  • Strong enough to bear the risk of the business. It means a risk taker
  • Creativity to generate new product ideas
  • Innovative qualities to get the competitive advantage in the market
  • The proprietor must be result oriented
  • Ability to understand the market needs and demands
  • Ability to generate ideas and new products
These are the basic and important entrepreneurship qualities that should be present in novice business people to be successful in the market. A new comer will face some challenges in the market, but only the entrepreneurship abilities will help to solve the problem and move forward.

These days, the most common hindrance in becoming the entrepreneurs is the hype competition in the market. Just because of the competition in the market, many people give up on the idea of becoming an entrepreneur. However, a real business person who has all entrepreneurship qualities will never stop until he or she tastes business success.

Re: New Video - Should I Get A Job Or Start A Business? Re: New Video - Should I Get A Job Or Start A Business? - Hi Evan, I was curious to know what you'd suggest and I think you gave excellent advice. Taking a year out to try and start your own business is a great idea. Taking a year out after college is a well established option so I guess it doesn't prejudice your chances of getting a job should you wish to do so later on; it probably improves your chances if you've been getting valuable experience of managing a business and of course, if all goes well, you won't need to find out. Definitely a video for my website. Thanks! David
