Starting a New Business: It's Not How Much You Prepare But How You Can Adapt

We tend to think that then we decide to pursue a business idea or venture, we need to be exceptionally well prepared. It may take many weeks or even months to research the activity and understand it extensively before kicking it off.

If we go too far with this, it can lead to paralysis by analysis. Yes it’s important to be well prepared. But at the same time recognize that things do change along the way so it’s equally (if not more) important to be prepared to deal with change.

Many entrepreneurs welcome change and find ways to capitalize on it. If you prepare for a venture extensively but you are then not prepared to deal with changing market conditions or other situations, the business venture may be in serious jeopardy.

While you are preparing and going through your research and analysis, accept the fact that once you get into the situation, things will change and what you initially assumed or planned for doesn’t necessarily come out that way. You need to be ready to accept and embrace change.

You can’t always prepare yourself for everything that may change in your business plan. You can prepare yourself to deal with changes and remain committed to finding solutions to these changing conditions.

If you accept the fact that things change, you will be much better prepared to capitalize on these changes and ultimately stand a chance to come out stronger than ever before. Change can be good. You just have to know how to deal with it.

I am known to be a dreamer. I always have an idea . Many of us entrepreneurs, go from one idea to another, don't we? When I meet people I ask people "What are you passionate about?"or "What is your dream?" While some people can answer this question, most are stopped in their tracks. They are so far removed from living in their passionate best that they just continue to live day after day numb, paying the bills going on vacation once a year and hoping to put enough money into an education fund for their children and may some sort of retirement fund so that ...one day they can enjoy their life. During my 20's and 30's I worked in the restaurant industry. I loved my work as a server and bartender. I took great pride on giving fast, reliable and friendly service. Alongside my restaurant career, I started to create my Plan B. I started to build a team in a network marketing business. Our team, at its height created $20,000 in monthly sales. I was mentored by brilliant business women who quadruple that. I am forever grateful to them as they showed me how to follow their footsteps. Since then, I have transitioned to a different network marketing company that helps businesses and solopreneurs improve their customer relations. I am always looking to partner with people in this business. Please contact me if you are curious on how you can create a Plan B. I am passionate about showing others how they can dream again and truly work their own business that gives them fulfillment control, time freedom and MAKING MONEY! With my hands on experience and vast knowledge combined with my Savvy Ideas, I know what will work and how to start you on the right track. Let me help you. Don't wait until retirement. Start living your passionate best today.

Business Innovation Business Innovation - Hi Simon If you can finish off the Business Plan and think about your strategic direction or how you are going to use your product to convince people it's a great idea, it will set the foundation for your programming project. You see, when you are looking for funding you will need a Business Plan and Strategic Plan that will convince companies to invest into your new idea. Has anyone achieved this idea before using another industry besides health and fitness that you know of? You should also design some mockups as a "preview" for your programming project. This will also help reduce your programming costs as everyone will know exactly what you want if you have detailed mockups already completed including any functionality you require. Starting mockups for websites and software applications on paper is the best way if you're not a guru in graphic editing software.

Re: Hi there Re: Hi there - Welcome to the forum It Starts with you Prepare Doing business online is not much different than doing business offline, except for the obvious differences; location, brick and mortar, leases, licenses, signage, business cards and letter head, etc. First Advise: Prepare: It is not a simple, single step, sign up. we do all the work for you and sit back and collect your money process What do you already know about business and it its various functions, products and pricing, sales and marketing, distribution, after sales support, etc. You need a plan(s); plan for your business, plan for your marketing, a financial plan and a personal action plan. what do you and your business need and where are you going to get it. Most offline business start from an interest, a hobby or a passion. (sure you get buy a franchise and they train you, but this is going to be your business) Online should not be much different : What is your passion? [quote="galuhsitra":3vf2qp5q]I dont have specific skill i think.. I love swimming, reading, and all about cats.. I love animals, mountains, and water..[/quote:3vf2qp5q] Then Google find product or services that help fulfill your passion. Pick perhaps 3 or 4 and do your own due diligence, Join 1 or 2 and take responsible for your decision You are at a great advantage that you found us (EvanCarmichael) with your question.
