Reveal one of the most frequent mistake why thousands of small businesses flop
Everybody who has ever ventured alone on setting up his or her business knows all too well what a tough taks it is to take on. You are probably familiar with data that shows that in excess of one in two small businesses flop in the initial first 12 months of trading and 95% go belly up inside the first 5 years. Yet, that number never alters much from one year to the next. Why is that?
Countless entrepreneurs launch their businesses with nothing but a "good" idea. But profitable businesses are sustained because those who have the vision also know how to launch a successful business and can implement their vision. They may already have a reliable business background or they hire experts that help them become successful.
The trouble is that many business ventures fail because the business owners do not have the business and management experience to take their idea to the next stage, and to completely implement all of the components needed to stay in business.
Newbies with a good business concept are frequently observed as being overly or excessively optimistic and exaggerate their earnings and sales numbers and also play down the sheer size of what needs to be undertaken to make their businesses thrive.
The other oversight new business owners make is that they don't understand or are in denial about what they don't do well and don't seek out qualified professionals that can help them in their business ventures...until it's too late.
There will be things that you cannot or should not perform alone and it is alright to inquire about using external assistance.
Scores of industry owners hate the stack of paperwork they have to complete to keep the tax man happy and to keep on top of their invoicing, client orders, etc. Of course, all you want to do is focus on the business of selling what you offer and then delivering to your clients, right? So, all of this additional paperwork involved with running your business is burdensome.
But the fact is that it has to be undertaken at some time.
You should either do all of this yourself or you seek to outsource some of it to other people who specialise in certain tasks (accounting, marketing, etc). When you do, you'll have more time to focus on what you do best. As a newbie, you'll need to ensure you meet the obligations imposed on you by government tax departments, employment legislation, customer service and often so much more.
As you start to deliberate how you organise your business, you will almost certainly see new things concerning your company. Altering your outlook and the manner in which you think about your business can oftne shed new light and regularly offer you competitive advantages you've been probing for.
You have at least set the ball in motion now and have begun your route to a totally innovative style of undertaking business. Don't become a statistic and stop now!
I challenge you to look closely at your business and put into practice the changes you need to be successful. Stretch the limits of your imagination and do not be scared to undertake something innovative.
