Connecting a Wireless Home Network

Wireless networks are very popular nowadays. They are very convenient because there is no need for wires. You can connect to the Internet and share it. A lot of times in homes you have more than one computer and more than one user. An Internet modem connected to DSL or a cable network can only connect one user to the Internet. There is only one slot, in the DSL or cable modem, where the Ethernet cable is plugged and it would go to the computer. However if you have a wireless router you can plug the Ethernet cable to it and the router broadcasts the wireless signal to as many computers that need to access the Internet. A wireless router also has Ethernet ports so that you can connect other computers using an Ethernet cable. All your other computers like laptops need a wireless card to be able to read this signal and connect to the Internet. If you connect a wireless network in your home you can also share printers. If the printer has a wireless card then it can be easily added to the network and multiple computers can send jobs to the printer.

A wireless network is very convenient to have in a home with more than one computer. How can you connect a wireless network in your home? First of all, you need to have all of the necessary things in order to connect a wireless network. This includes having a broadband Internet connection, which is a high speed Fibre,DSL or cableconnection . You also need a wireless routerthat will be broadcasting the wireless network to the devices on your network. Finally, but equally as important, you need your computer to have a built in wireless networking card. If it’s not built in then you can see if your computer is compatible with a wireless network adapter card and it can be added to your computer. With all of these things you can connect a wireless network in your home and enjoy all of the benefits and features of it.

Once you have everything you need, you need to set up or connect the wireless network. You need to unplug the Ethernet cable from your DSL or cable modem and plug it to the wireless router in the slot that reads Internet. You then need to configure the wireless network to the settings of your ISP (Internet Service Provider), so you can successfully connect to the Internet. Once you have configured your wireless network successfully you will be able to connect to the Internet. Now your other computers can also connect to the wireless network.

It is not hard to connect a wireless network. It is very convenient to have one as you can access the Internet and you can share a lot of wireless devices. Your wireless router will give these devices IP addresses and they will form part of your network. This is something many people have done in their homes today and many others do the same because of the convenience of connecting wirelessly, especially from your deck or lakeside. If the steps listed here are followed you will also have your own wireless network at your very own home.

Once you have spent two years doing the above, then look for a 55 - 60 year old business person that is looking to reduce their time in the business. Then you can work on a sweetheart financing option.

Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? - HI, I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business. It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need.
