Some sites get TONS of traffic and make a boat load of money every month, but don't have very good Alexa rankings because the type of visitors they get aren't those who would have the toolbar installed. Then, there are sites that don't get much traffic or make any money but they have great Alexa rankings because most of their visitors have the toolbar installed. I put very little weight on Alexa rankings. In fact, if it wasn't for this thread I would probably never look at them.
