LIFE – A Work in Progress

A life blueprint infers that there is a plan for your life. Life is a constant "work in progress". I believe there is a blueprint also for your life and it is up to you whether you want to participate in it or not. It's up to you if you'd like admission to the film of your life! - The one with the happy ending!! The blueprint is not a right, predestined one-option plan, but rather a structure from which to create the future of your choice. It's a structure that holds the clues to comfort and happiness in your own skin and the path to your best life. Without help, though, we're often unable to see this best life, so we cling to conventional models of achieving success, such as what we see our friends and co-workers doing and the messages the media send out. We work hard and we try to be the best we can. Striving in these ways makes us feel that we're working toward something productive, but it also ultimately makes us feel that we are chasing our tails doing more to be "successful" so that we can earn our time to relax and enjoy - a time that never seems to come!

A much easier way to "have it all" is within our grasp, however, when we learn to see our Life Plan. This means not just being happy and successful but living a life in which these good things come to you easily without the stress, strain, strife, or effort you may have come to accept as a "normal" part of life. Being happy doesn't have to be hard"!

Reaching a state of ease is what the JOURNEY is all about. You will work to get to a point where your life "clicks". So how do we learn to identify our best life? The process of Life Coaching will always assist you in overcoming any obstacles that lie between you and your best life. This process will take you within, instead of looking outward to the model or rules of others for solutions. By using what is within you, your own wisdom, you save time, energy and money. You'll stop doing umpteen million things in pursuit of what you believe you want and instead you'll unleash your innate wisdom and allow your built-in extraordinary life to evolve as it's meant to. You will get in touch with who you really are and what you really want.

Even in these times of economic uncertainty, we may have arrived at a point in life where we've put on several security blankets, feathered a nice nest for ourselves, and are content with the way things are. We don't want to be disturbed. Yet, every so often, we may hear a disconcerting voice telling us to go, to change and to grow. This is because life is a Work in Progress, organic, moving. We're not meant to arrive at a certain spot and just stop. There's always more growing to do - spiritually and as a person. If we don't listen to that little voice telling us to go, to change, to grow we'll risk a life lived in "second gear". This is not the dream! Unfortunately, many people live on a day-to-day basis, going through their daily routine - they simply exist. If you are not working towards your goals, then whose goals are you working towards? Are they someone else's - family, friends, employer, society etc? Imagine investing that energy into creating your own ideal future now - how would that future be different from where you are now?

It is arrogant to think there are creative people and non-creative people. Each of us is creative. Creativity is a gift, and each of us has it. It's what makes us human. Some of us are lucky enough to have lives that can make space for more creativity. The act of searching for our best spot to create something from nothing is one of the only sure things in life that we have. There are no guarantees in life. The choices we make every day are creative.

So we are all creative, which means that any manager who thinks he or she is managing some people who are not creative is starting from the wrong point, those people will not gain respect from their employees. A good manager is someone who makes everyone feel like he or she is creative in their work. People make choices to be more creative if they are gainfully employed. But also we have more control than we realise over how creative we make our work life. How can you tell if you are creative at work? You could just ask yourself if you are happy in your job and if it is nourishing the "real you". If, on the other hand you're doing a job you hate, it's a good bet that you will not be creative, but so much of solving our own problems is fixing our outlook, and this is no exception. So stop blaming your job or your boss or your work, and start looking to yourself to make your overall life more creative. All jobs have opportunities for creativity. Some have more and some have less, but you usually get more opportunities by showing that you are content in your work and are a creative problem solver over and over again.

Re: What Is Your Forum Marketing Strategy? Re: What Is Your Forum Marketing Strategy? - Building an effective campaign is always helpful. By setting goals, you can also set the timeframe for your strategy and focus on achieving them. Progress reports, which include the project's strengths and weaknesses are also essential for a strategy to become successful.
Re: Is it better to become an entrepreneur at an early age? Re: Is it better to become an entrepreneur at an early age? - I think the best time to become an entrepreneur is not about your age, but your LIFE STAGE. In my opinion, it's ideal to start by your business before you have a spouse/kids/family and mortgage and just after you've worked a few years to save up some capital/work experience (which is easiest to do while still living at home with your parents. No shame in being able to save $1000-2000+ each month).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - BARBARA, LONG LIFE AND PROSPERITY![/quote:1k77iu30] Thanks very much, Topeyinka! But I was really just joking - I know no one here could have known my birthdate! ! I was just wondering if an automated "Birthday greeting" sent from the forums would be a good idea...
Re: The secret to happiness Re: The secret to happiness - Hey GT You have a great attitude. I was a 4 pack a day smoker and I stopped about 8 years ago. Nobody thought it possible that Barry Sarner could ever stop smoking. It turned out to be the biggest lesson I ever learned in MY LIFE. The lesson: How could you fail at anything if you just refuse to give up? I slipped and slided for 8 months but even when I messed up, and I did alot, I never threw myself under the bus. I just started all over again the next day. I CHOSE to start again the next day . . . I CHOSE You must work on it every day of your life. Just know that you have the choice to start from scratch the next day. . . . . AND THAT IS OK TO DO. NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP
