Where You Can Turn Frustration and Being Flippant Into Big Dollar Business?
The lonely
old potato chip, today it is a Billion dollar industry. The potato chip came
into existence as we know it out of frustration and being flippant. Where in
your life have you been a little of both? Maybe it has been driving back and
forth to work, with your boss or maybe a waiter.
Well that my
friends is where this Billon dollar industry got its start. In the summer of
1853, Native American George Crum was employed as a chef at an elegant resort
in Saratoga Springs, New York. One dinner guest found Crum's French fries too
thick for his liking and rejected the order. Crum decided to rile the guest by
producing fries too thin and crisp to skewer with a fork. The plan backfired.
The guest was ecstatic over the browned, paper-thin potatoes, and other diners
began requesting Crum's potato chips.
What
does this have to do with today you ask? Great question. The money that seemed
to flow like water just a few years ago and now seems to be in a drought. The
money is still there it is just changing hands. Did you know that about half of
the fortune 500 companies started in a recession? For many that have started an
online home based business, the cash is flown for them. They started that business
from a frustration in their life and a flippant attitude of I’ll show you.
Frustration
can be a good if not a great thing when used correctly. Let your frustration
with life feed your bank account. George Crum never did but that does not mean
you can’t. He never patented his flippant spur of the moment idea. It doesn’t
take much effort to decide you have had enough of what other people decide your
worth to them. Take that frustration and go all flippant. I always enjoy seeing
everyday people making the big bucks from home based business.

potato chips in a basket placed on every table..
1895 William Tappendon of Cleveland, Ohio begins
selling potato chips as a food in grocery stores

(later changed the name to Tri-Sum)
1910 Mikesell's Potato Chips, Dayton, Ohio.

1913 Dan Dee Pretzel and Potato Chip Company,

1918 Num Num, Cleveland, Ohio
1919 Blue Bell - Illinois
1921 Wise Delicatessen Company, Berwick,

1921 Utz - Hanover, Pennsylvania. Started as the
Hanover Home Brand Potato Chips
1921 Magic Food Co, later Golden Flake*,
Birmingham, Alabama.
1924 Moore's, Bristol, Virginia.

- I've seen the ad for "Turn you on" on TV here in Toronto but not the others.
Yeah my girlfriend liked that ad too and started telling me wouldn't it be great to have one, I had to quickly remind her that one of the reasons we moved downtown was so that we could get rid of the car and plus we don't have a parking space for it.
Honestly, I was seriously considering it.

This subject is not only for entrepreneurs. Everybody can benefit from this, that is the reason why 'Healthy Living and Eating' is a multi billion Dollar business.
Often I smile, because so much is written about it. So many different business are blooming and doing well. Whilst there is so much knowledge and opportunity to be healthy and well, the need is still growing.
There is so much that could be said. The cheapest form of energy is gained by a good sleep.
