In this article I offer HOPE and resources for your success in building your internet business. Perhaps, you have been recently unemployed, wanting to increase income or retired. You look into the web. Then the contest begins. The internet, you think, is the greatest market place ever. "I'll be able make some money, easy."

Yes, you and hundreds of thousands with the same idea. Some say 42 million in the US alone are out of work and looking. Then, there are hundreds of thousands trapped in awful jobs, plus "retireds" who have to/want to work and cannot get jobs.

You begin to "poke around the internet"...your mail box begins to flood with GET RICH QUICK OFFERS. Hey, this is really easy. Look at all of the opportunity out there, Everybody is getting rich.

In your softened mental state you begin to look. The pitches are hypnotic. They make you feel good, hopeful even. Terrific, someone out there wants to help me make money, rich beyond dreams. So you invest $67, then $97. OVER AND OVER AGAIN. You're like the 49er gold miner.

There's got to be gold in there somewhere. I'll find it and be wealthy beyond my dreams. I won't have to work. Just pay these guys and I'm in clover!

You get instant down loads of what turns out to be tire old ploys. You study hard; do what you are told to do. Then another email arrives with a dribble of information.

You take an other up-sell offer for $107, commit to $49 per month to keep the hope alive. You get confused, the emotions deflate and then, boom, back were your started, only now you have spent hundreds of dollars you got as severance from your job release or unemployment benefit or worse, dwindling savings.

You wonder, "Isn't there some resource, some group of people that really want to help?". There has to be Good Guys in this vast marketplace.

So you learn to research the internet for reviews. What do you get, a bunch of the same company's sales pitches pretending to be hard hitting analysis. Where, oh where, can you go for honest solid internet help? Some place with real experience shared by successful professionals with no particular ax to grind.

You are convinced that there are people making money on the internet, BUT HOW???

I wanted a blueprint, a set of detailed plans, a true road map of how to engage in internet business. I wanted human support, not from an outsourced resource far, far away. Not someone who may know the computer world, but hadn't a clue what I wanted or needed.

I didn't know much, so solid no hype education was a big need. I didn't have a lot of capital to invest, so low cost or free ideas were important. I wanted information on demand, when I needed it, dribbled in or in gulps. When I needed it, I wanted recommendations for services and products, solid recommendations.

I didn't want to set up an entire back office support team, didn't have the money or knowledge for that. I just didn't have enough to get going.

I hungered and thirsted for encouragement that the hard work, well placed, was worth the effort.

Hallelujah, I found such a resource, with a huge pool of helpful information and just the right kind of people, people who had made "it" as internet entrepreneurs; just what I want from an on-line business. Really, what I want. ME. Not a pitchman’s guess.

I have discovered how to process potential products, how to represent them with no investment (other than my time). I don't have to inventory, bill, ship, collect payment or handle complains. Along with products, chosen by me, I have learned many ways to advertise, for free. I have learned over 20 blue prints or road maps how to market, advice personally from the strongest pros in the industry.

Imagine, attending live on-line webinars, as many as you wish, listening to masters of the internet share openly their current successful techniques. How about on demand videos, with step by step instructions on how to best approach the vast internet and be noticed. Use every tool, or only a few. Success is mine, on my terms!

I've just described a small portion of help from a community of internet entrepreneurs, each one has personally made over one million dollars in sales in order to qualify to be in the community. They care and are concerned for the newbie (that was me), the intermediate and even advanced member. They even teach how to work the marketing Magic for brick and mortar businesses.

I have discovered an educational community who encourages you to copy the professionals. My membership fee was less than the money I threw away. (Oh, and by the way, I learned about the legal side of the guarantee, from the community, and applied for and was refunded, nearly all of the "stupid" money. I am more than even now.

I would like to keep this forum a place where internet business owners can learn how to do internet marketing themselves. You must have a great deal of experience in internet marketing. What things in specific (please list out) can ones only learn from experience? I feel people could learn from your experience. Can you share any of your experiences with us? I do understand there is nothing like hands on experience. Maybe you can set up a free online course for people to "experience" this. Jeff

Re: How can I start home-based business? - Great suggestions everyone. Firstly you must document what skills, experience and interests you have. Then you can find opportunities for applying them to a business, You can work from home, or virtually anywhere these days with a internet connection. I would recommend taking everyone up on their offers of information, really studying it and then trying something. Good luck J

Re: We are more richer today than the generations before us - I believe it and I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that there are a lot more jobs than there used to be. The internet isn't that old, and there are so many job opportunities. I am so excited to be making money from home. It's a dream come true.
