Making Better Decisions for Your VoIP System

Businesses have many different options when it comes to the IP phone system that they can use. One of the main things which will need to be considered is what kind service system you will use. This is important because there are many different options which will allow you to get the kind of options which will help you to get the services that you want through the kinds of options that you choose.

The three main options that you can choose from includes:

Purchased IP Phone systems

This is when you buy the VoIP phones that you will use and you will also be in charge of making sure that the equipment is in good working order. You will purchase the equipment as well as the software which will allow you to make the phone calls that you want to make. Your company will be responsible for making sure that all of the systems are kept in good working order and that all connections are good.

The thing to watch out for here is to make sure that you have someone on staff who is knowledgeable about the systems and how to repair them if they are not working correctly. This is not something that all offices will be able to accomplish as this kind of expertise can come at a premium.

Managed IP phone systems

A more common kind of system to use is when you purchase all of the equipment and software from a company and then have another service manage the system. This will allow you to make sure that the connections as well as the hardware are always in good operational condition. The only problem here is that if anything goes wrong with the hardware that you will have to pay to replace it. This can be costly when you are dealing with thousand dollar systems.

The upshot is that you will be able to have a service on call anytime that you run into problems with your IP PBX systems. You will also have someone on call who will be able to program your systems exactly the way that you want for them to be programmed. This is a huge benefit to the small business.

Hosted IP Phone Systems

The most common kind of VoIP system to install in a business is the Hosted systems. This is where you will rent all of the equipment and the software from the company which will service them. The good news here is that you will not have to pay any extra is a piece of equipment needs to be replaced or if a service call needs to be made. It is included in what you pay for.

The majority of companies which offer these hosted services will also offer maintenance which will prevent downtime. This is offered because it also helps them to maintain the system that you are using so that they will not have to replace as many parts.

Re: Direct Mail Postcards Re: Direct Mail Postcards - Post cards would be really expensive to send from Japan...but one way to advertise that is not expensive from overseas is by Cold Calling using cheap VoIP equipment. I know Japan has a really good internet connection, so as long as you are willing to stay up late, it might be an option. I cold call from Thailand far, far away from any city using a CDMA wireless internet connection and have had pretty good results. I find tho, that cold calling works best for business 2 business (b2b), rather than b2c products. --matt
