Article Writing – Nah Too Much Hard Work! What’s In It For Me?

Article writing, for the novice, can be daunting and difficult to start. Even if they do start, it is difficult to keep going. So why do all the hard work to keep churning out articles as part of your marketing strategy?

1) In its very basic form article marketing is an advertisement for your website or business. Many people include article writing in their marketing because it is low cost and directly promotes you, your web site and the kind of products that you sell. When you post an article you have a marketing message that works twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

2) There are thousands more web sites joining the internet each week. That means that is increasingly becoming difficult to ensure that your web site is noticed.

3) Article writing takes time, but it is low cost. Posting several articles on a good ezine article site will give your web site and your business exposure.

4) You are building your business and personal recognition amongst people who are seeking information that you are providing within your article. This gives you an enhanced brand awareness. If you provide good quality articles they will be seen by editors and key deciders in your industry.

5) You will receive good links to your web site – not only from the article directory but also from other web sites who will publish your article. This helps with your natural listing as well.

Just one article can go a long way. Other website publishers will look at your article and may republish it to their website or put it into their ezine. Your article will be published to numerous websites – all the time, promoting your own web site and the product you are selling.


Remember: To write an effective article, make it informative, fun and easy to read.
