Guest post by: C.J Lauria

Article Overview: There is s plethora of good information out there. Don’t be afraid to read some of it. Personally, I enjoy reading the scriptures and learning principles upon which to base my conduct and decisions. It has helped me immensely, especially when things don’t seem to go my way. For me; for all of us, personal victories must precede those in the public.

Enjoy Personal Victories Before Seeking Them in Business

As the Founder of the national real estate mentor for life!™ program, I have coached many folks in their respective businesses with an eye on their personal development. Isn’t it true that Outer victories are merely a mirror of those victories we have within? Let’s take a moment to dwell on this concept and a few essential victories imperative to our success. Self-Confidence – This is one quality that will serve you well in business as well as life in general. No one feels comfortable around insecure adults, especially in business.

This is a quality that will come when once you have your education under your belt. However, you’re not ready to start your business yet. Find a mentor. Do your research and be sure he/she is really qualified, then be prepared to follow directions closely. Those simple steps can help one to develop the self-confidence needed in the business world.

Altruism – Simply put, you need to like people and enjoy their company. Great satisfaction comes to those who enjoy helping others, too. If you have acquired this attribute, you will find that a business in which helping people is the focus can be a lot of fun. You’ll be working and not even know it!

Patience – “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” …and neither is your business! Too many quit just as they are at a tipping point. I have seen this happen more than once and it just gets to me how close some actually come to realizing their goals. Winners never quit and neither should you. If you have done your research, carefully thought out your career path and followed a plan of personal development you will likely want to stay the course.

Commit to Self-Improvement – This is a lifelong project. As imperfect beings, we always have room for improvement. Self-improvement is something that we will always seek to do for our own sake as well as those around us.

There is s plethora of good information out there. Don’t be afraid to read some of it. Personally, I enjoy reading the scriptures and learning principles upon which to base my conduct and decisions. It has helped me immensely, especially when things don’t seem to go my way. For me; for all of us, personal victories must precede those in the public.

In conclusion, I recommend putting first things first. It’s not what we have, but who we are that really counts in the end. Personal success breeds success in other areas of life as well.

It just depends on what's on my mind right then. I don't think there's anything you can't do. I've seen everything on there. But I suppose there probably are some rules. Spamming is obviously frowned upon.
