Here is a key: success is something you attract by the person you become. It’s not something you pursue, it’s something you attract by becoming an attractive person. What do I mean by this? Success is not something you learn, it’s something that you ARE. You bring success TO everything you do, you don’t learn success.
Therefore, if you are a successful person, everything you pursue is already a guarantee because you will take the action which leads to results. This is called “belief in yourself”. You must believe in the possibilities of life, then you must believe these possibilities are possible for you, and then you go to work and make it happen.
There are five common denominators that have been around for thousands of years, known only by those successful people such as Lincoln, Plato, Einstein, Carnegie, Washington etc. Reading these gifts is one thing, practicing them daily is another. If you wish to become wealthy you must study those who are wealthy and practice what they preach. I am saving you reading 10 books on how to develop a millionaire mind-set with this one article. You decide whether it’s worth your time to implement these simple principles in your life.
1. Income-producing Activities
Every day, you must perform that activities that will create income for you. Whether you work in an office, outside, from your home, there are activities that are revenue-producing, do these every day. Consistency is the key.
2. Visualizing and Meditation
This step is often remised but is one of the most important things to incorporate in your daily routine. Think from the end. Revel in thoughts of where you want to be, 1 year, 2 years, or 5 years from now. What often helps is first creating a list of 101 things you would like to experience in your life, and then use every sense in your body to visualize this every day. Picture it already happening. Minimum 20 minutes a day. This is quiet time that allows to re-connect with your creativity and your dreams. So important.
3. Masterminding with Other Leaders
If you wish to learn to drive, you will not consult a 12-year old who has never driven. This same principle applies here. If you wish to become wealthy and prosperous, learn from those who are having those results. Read a book on how to become a millionaire, read autobiographies on accomplished people, speak with those who are having the results you desire and pick their brains. You cannot fly with the eagles if you continue to squabble over crumbs with the chickens.
4. Cultivate the Expectation of Leadership
You must first become the person you wish to attract. If you wish to attract successful and prosperous people to your business, your team, your circle of friends, you must first become that person. Successful people make decisions quickly and change their minds slowly. Be that person. Be decisive. Be on purpose. Be the leader you have always dreamed of becoming. Make a choice and become that person, it’s as simple as that. Write down which qualities you wish to portray and go to work and live your life based on those characteristics. This becomes much easier with time. Again, be consistent.
5. Personal Development
Spend a minimum of 30 minutes every day creating the person you wish to be. You must go to the books, go to the seminars, go to the tapes that teach you how to become a wealthy and prosperous person. And practice what you learn. Knowledge is the “potential” for power because it only becomes power when you act on what you know. Here’s a key: journal every day on how you were a different person today based on the tools you learned. Keep a journal. Let it inspire you one more time. Let it teach you one more time. Let it coach you one more. Your couches won’t be of value after you leave this world, your wisdom will. Buy an empty book and keep a journal of insights, lessons, guidance you learn every day.
Action does it. If you make a decision to change your life, follow through on your commitment and make those changes. Start by implementing everything you learned here today and you will be well on your way to wealth and freedom!
