Social Media Marketing: The Evolution Of SEO

Social Media Marketing: The Evolution Of SEO

Using social media marketing is a great way to promote your business, especially if you incorporate Google Gadgets into the act! Google gadgets are little pieces of code that can be downloaded from Google for free. You can use these gadgets as your signature when you post onto forums and blog pages and direct interested people to your website for free!

Social marketing is an ideal way to get a target market. If you want to direct people to your website, you need only visit some of the different social network sites on the internet and make a page. This can be done in a matter of minutes. Then find others who share your interests and send them a note with your own personal signature, complete with a cute little Gadget. Gadgets can be customized and make a fun signature at the end of your post. They can be used to link others to your website.

In addition to responding to blogs, you can also post comments on forums that are contained on most of the social networks. Make sure that the forum is relevant. The more you post, the more search engine optimized your website will become. You can literally create your own “buzz” about your website by using social networking.

A buzz on the internet indicates that something is hot. You can actually create your own buzz by posting links, through the use of Gadgets, in relevant forums and blogs throughout the internet. And make sure that you do not just concentrate on the well known social networks. Try some of those that are a little less well known and you may be surprised at the results you will get.

The name of the game is relevance. Make sure that the blogs and forums that you target are relevant to your website. Social networks are the easiest way to reach your target market. You can simply do a search and find thousands of social networks all over the internet. Make sure you find those where participants will be interested in your website and you are all set!

Do not limit yourself to using only .Com blogs, either. Make sure that you visit all of the blogs sites and social networking sites on the internet, including those that have suffixes of .gov and .net as well as others. Pay special attention to any that have .edu as these are often used for Universities and may contain a large target market.

Making sure that your content on your website is all search engine optimized can also help you market your brand. By spreading your website all over the internet with the use of Google Gadgets, you are giving your website the most exposure you can and will raise your rank in the search engines. Creating a buzz about your business is not difficult if you create a Google Gadget for your website and use it to post links throughout blogs and social forums.

Before you know it, everyone will be talking about the hottest website around - yours!
