Free anti virus solution

Free anti virus solution

Every computer MUST have an anti virus installed. And now, being short on a budget is no excuse not to have an anti virus protection. There are some free anti virus solutions available to download on the Internet.

One of the most popular ones is AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition for home users. As the name says, it's free! You don't have to pay for any renewal subscription and it is automatically updated. And in my opinion, it is very reliable. Even though it is just anti virus protection, it is better than having no protection at all.

If this sounds interesting for you, then please keep reading for instructions to install it on your computer.

1.Visit the website at this link to download AVG 2.Click on the DOWNLOAD NOW link showed on the image in the red rectangle.

3.Open or Save the file to your desired location. After download finishes, double click to open it.

4.On the Welcome screen, click on Next.

5.On the next screen, read the License Agreement and click on Accept if you accept it.

6.AVG will check your system. At the next screen, select Standard Installation and click on Next, as shown in the image.

7.At the next screen, you get the opportunity to personalize AVG. Please do not change the License number on this screen.

8.The next screen will show the installation summary. Click on Finish and let the installation begin.

9.After a short time the installation will finish. Click on OK at the screen as shown.

Now AVG is installed but it also has to be configures. It is very easy. Just follow to the next instructions:

1.At the Congratulations screen, click on Next.

2.On the next screen click Next too.

3.Again click next without changing any settings.

4.Click Next again. You can also select to scan your computer at this time or do that later.

5.At the next screen you can select to register AVG or just click next to skip registration.

6.And finally click on Continue. This ends the configuration of AVG.

One last advice. If after the installation, you see a red exclamation mark on the AVG main screen, you should Check for Updates. Just click on the image next to Check for updates and follow the easy instructions.

Wasn't this easy? And the best of all, it is free! I hope this tutorial has been useful for you.
